We enjoyed our stay at Tourist Cottage Hunza so much that we extended our stay. The hospitality and kindness of Ali cannot be appreciated enough. He is always willing to help if you need anything and he cooks delicious food. The value for money is unbeatable and the location is in walking distance of many cafes, restaurants and Baltit Fort. Ali can also arrange a private driver for you for a fair price. You will need to ask him as he will not put any pressure on you by offering extra services.

Hunza is really special. The landscape, the culture, the people... It is so nice to be here.
We did some awsome hike in the region, visited the Baltit fort and Altit fort and walk around in Karimabad :)
I highly recommend You to stay in Offto Resort, or if it not fits your budget have a dinner at their Restaurant. ( their food is just soo good!)
They have an amazing vision, they support the local community and they have lots of traditional elements in the resort.

Hunza has history, grandeur and beauty combined.
Hunza has history, grandeur and beauty combined. Its people are very friendly and hospitable. Probably one of the best spots for a peaceful retreat from an extremely busy lifestyle that most city dwellers live through every day.

Excellent tourist place with lush green surroundings, beautiful valleys, snow clad mountains, glaciers, fast flowing chilled water rivers, beautiful lakes, safe and scenic camping sites, and water falls. People are very friendly, all required facilities are available at a low price. The valley is full of unexplored natural beauty.

Certainly one of the most beautiful places I have ever...
Certainly one of the most beautiful places I have ever travelled too! Certainly visit Baltit fort, Altit Fort, Eagle's Nest, Attabad lake, Borid lake, Passu glacier, the rock carvings from the old Silk Route and the Husseini bridge - all must see tourist attractions. For eating I certainly recommend the Rainbow Cafe in Karimabad, which has good food and very nice owners. Karimabad is generally good to stay, because it has the most facilities. The Baltit Heritage Inn is a nice and affordable place to sleep, with amazing views. If you go in winter, as I did, be prepared that it is cold, that many things are closed and that you can't do much hiking. On the other hand it is also amazing, because it is empty and peaceful at that time. Oh and lastly, do not waste your time in Gilgit when arriving there. The city is polluted and dirty and has none of the Hunza charm.

Hunza is a beautiful mountainous region with ancient forts and lakes, fresh organic and dry fruits sold everywhere in shops and on roads, local and beautiful craftmanship, people are very friendly and speak English. It was quite hot in August (36 degrees C). My favourite eating place was Hunza Food Pavillion, Baltit Fort Road, Karimabad.
