The location was perfect, right on the main square. Nice and quiet. The breakfasts were very well prepared and presented. The staff were incredibly helpful and English speaking. I particularly enjoyed the big smile and conversation of the Greek gentleman that overlooked the smooth and efficient running of the breakfast buffet each morning. (He's an Ipswich Town F.C. supporter if that helps!) Thankyou all for a lovely stay in H.K.
The boutique Hotel Okresní Dům is a fine example of Art Nouveau architecture in Hradec Králové, situated in a quiet area of the centre and offering parking in the courtyard.

Very nice hotel, great location and very pleasant staff. I had a room with the view to the courtyard and it was very quiet room, being workn up by the bells from the town towers nearby. The room was spacious and very comfortable, great beds. Would definitely come again!

Everything was very pleasant: nice interior, quiet and clean hotel in the center of the city. The room is small in size. But for me it was a plus: it was cozy, the windows of our room faced the courtyard, so it was quiet. Everything suited me. And thank you very much to the friendly staff.

The hotel is located just outside the old town, however, guaranteeing guests peace. The room is spacious, with a small closet (suitable rather for storing the belongings of 1 person, certainly not three). Both the rooms and other areas were sparkling clean. The hotel provided guests with good quality cosmetics, including body lotion. On-site guarded parking (for an additional fee) is available. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful "hidden" jewel which definitely wort a visit.
Beautiful "hidden" jewel which definitely wort a visit. Visit the castel-area near the cathedral with its lovely colorful old buildings perfectly restored. Go at least once to the "Bono Publico" staircase which connects the old upper part of the city to the lower one: the staircase (an empire monument) can play music, and before starting climbing the stairs up or down, you can choose from a panel your favourite classical "track". The upper part of the city is full of traditional restaurants, pubs, pastry-shops and cafés where you can get to know the "real" czech cuisine and atmosphere. Finally, take a walk in the very large and fantastic green areas near the rivers Elbe and Orlice: one of the parks hosts an ancient beautiful church made entirely of wood!

Underated jewel in the Czech republic. Not crowded with tourists. University town with a young vibe. Very walkable. Well preserved historic center. The surrounding new town has a number of architectural gems. from the the late 1800s and early 20th century. Well worth a visit.

This town is a hidden gem.
This town is a hidden gem. I come up there a couple times a year for business and I really like the place. Beautiful old town, good restaurants, and something cool off the beaten path. By the way, everybody knows the Czech Republic has good beer but it has really great food as well.

A modern buzzing city with a lots of history and natural beauty to offer. If you are on a business trip or leisure, there is always plenty going on. You can spend your time by relaxing walk around the two rivers that meet at Hradec. Other options would be visiting historical places inside and outdoor. Or prefer art, theathre or music? Help yopurself! Plenty great restaurants and bars to visit tool. Great beet frol local microbreweries. And if you have enough of the town head to explore the surrounding countryside. If you love mountain ranges or lakes and rivers surely you will find plenty of these to enjoy!

This place surprised me, and in a great way!
This place surprised me, and in a great way! It is not swarming with tourists, the air is that of a small town (not that sleepy but close enough), the city center and most importantly the Bono Publico were lovely!
We spent only 1 night but you can easily spend 2 if you want to check out the museums as well.
There are some cute coffee shops to try and a great cocktail bar with great cocktails and service (Blind Lion for the ones interested). Overall I enjoyed the atmosphere of the town and I would definitely recommend it to anyone, the prices are also cheaper than in most touristy cities.

The trip to nearby castle Hrádek u Nechanic was a fantastic, lovely place even with golf green , and in the historical center of the city there is very interesting White tower 72 m high renaisance tower newly reconstrueted in 2013-2015 - GREAT
The place is amazing, everything is nicely decorated, the rooms are cozy, the bathroom is in white and blue, completely our favorite style. Delicious breakfasts, a large selection of dishes for every taste and there was even a choice of different diets. The owner of the facility took care of our well-being and was really very helpful in every matter. Thank you for everything once again and when we are back in Hradec Kralove, we will definitely book Hnizdo snu.
Nice hotel in the main square of the city, and is very close to the bus stops as well. the room was large and cosy, equipped with a smart tv, desk, chairs, closet, safe, minibar, bathroom with a bath, and toiletries. The breakfast was pretty good and the terrace is great to enjoy your breakfast. Both the reception and breakfast room employees were very nice as well.
The staff are the real rockstars here, we were arriving late at 1AM (reception closed) and they made sure we had had access to the hotel and to the room. On top of that there was a parking voucher waiting in the room so we could park the car in front of the hotel so we wouldn't have to search for a parking spot in the middle of the night. Awesome service
This is really nice hotel right a few steps away from the city centre. The staff is superior, girls were very welcoming and did everything they could to make my stay very comfortable. The interior's design is really cool, so you won't regret choosing this hotel. Thanks a lot, folks, and all the best wishes to you.
Nice, large and clean room, helpful and always smiling staff, cozy restaurant with a bar and delicious breakfast. Free parking (outside or garage) and a charging point at the nearby petrol station. Wish we could’ve stayed more than one night. I’ll definitely book this hotel again in the future.
The staff was extremely kind and helpful, and allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel for few extra hours after check out. The hotel is situated in the very centre of the city and everything you need is just few steps away. Rich breakfast. The hotel architecture is also impressive!
The hotel was very new. Everything was very clean, stylish and beautiful. The bed was very comfortable, as were the blankets and pillows. The shower gel and hand soap were of very high quality. The breakfast was rich and delicious. And the hotel staff were so friendly and welcoming.
The property was very clean, and efficiently comprehensive in its design. The location is great, less than five minutes by walk to the city center, but far enough away from its noise to sleep well. This rental is perfectly situated to walk Hradec Králové's parks and river trails.
The room was extra spacious and i just adore art nouveau. The breakfast was also worth praising. There is free parking on the premises of the hotel, which is quite important. The personnel was helpful and lened me an umbrella, for which I was truly grateful!
Hotel located on the main square of the city in the old building.
Wide and comfortable bed, big bathroom with shower and bathtub. TV Smart , even with polish (although propaganda )
channel. Sockets next to the bed. Tasty breakfast. Free parking for me
A very well appointed apartment in the very heart of Hradec Kralove. Nice and clean kitchen, shower, bath and washroom. Newly refurbished and feels new. Beautiful decorations on the walls and fast Internet. Very friendly host. Nice welcome gift!
The hotel’s excellent qualities include its central location, and the abundance of dining choices in the vicinity 🤩🤩. The breakfasts spread was amazing. The kitchen staff were very polite & addressed each issue well. 👍🏻
Great location in the downtown, everything is in the walking distance. We had room with a terrace with a very nice view. Room was very comfy and clean. I recommend to utilize pool and sauna in the hotel.
Proximity to the city center and river is big advantage of this place. You can reach out to city center after few minutes of nice walk. There is also a park across the street from the hotel.
Spacious room. Location is great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The garden of the hotel is wonderful. Everything was just perfect and I hope we get to stay again next year.
