The room was nice. However, I wouldn’t expect additional charges for bathrobe usage (6€ per bathrobe) - the room was already very expensive.
The waiter in the bar was very kind. The breakfast was very good.

Portorož is the most popular beach resort on Slovenia’s small but undulating coastline. It was first developed as a health resort and several spas remain. The largest is the Terme & Wellness LifeClass Portorož, offering treatments using local products such as salt pan mud, seawater and thermal mineral water.
The huge complex is surrounded by some of the 4 and 5-star hotels available on Booking.com. Nearby is the Hotel Kempinski Palace, a historic property built in 1910 as a retreat for Austro-Hungarian officials. Other Portorož accommodation options include guest houses with pools and beachfront apartments.
The beaches are of course why most people come. The main, sandy beach is awash with colourful parasols in summer, while offshore watersports include diving and water skiing. Boat trips from the marina sail along the coast and even to Venice and Trieste in Italy.
As the temperature cools down, the nightlife heats up as people start hitting the bars and clubs. Several casinos also provide another way to spend some time…and money, and there are also relaxed restaurants where you can enjoy the sunset.
Portorož Airport is just south of the city and in the opposite direction is Piran whose Venetian old town spread over a promontory provides a more cultural offering.
Really great and peacefull in May. People are great, service everywhere was great, food was delicious, drinks great. Prices were okay, expected for a place near the sea and with terme/wellness offer.
It really near other interesting places, like Piran, Izola, Trieste...I recommend visiting by car or renting one and touring around.

Very nice swimming pools with sea and termal water.
Our food was delicious, especially sea food. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms we stayed in were very neat and tidy.
Although there were not enough parking spaces, the staff tried very hard to provide us with payable parking.

A very bad experience, from everything that can be said about a hotel that does not respect itself.
We booked a Mosim room, paid in advance and received "another product",
Although there was a lack of reference, and the answer was
"Sorry. Although you did not receive the room you paid for and booked a month ago,
The hotel is full and you are welcome to stay in the room even though it is bad and not suitable for the reservation. Unprofessionalism, indifference and disdain even though they realized they were wrong,
And they didn't try to solve the problem they had. We paid full price, and we did not receive the product (a room that did not match our wishes and conditions) and we did not even receive a refund for the difference between the room we ordered and the room we received.

A beautiful resort- we went in September.
A beautiful resort- we went in September. An unknown gem to British tourists. I imagine too crowded in main summer months. The area is stunning- short bus ride to Piran- which is beautiful and interesting. Swimming in the Adriatic is wonderful.
This is a tourist hotel located close to the historical town Piran (walking distance) and the long promenade stretching between Piran and Portoroz is perfect for walks, runs, cycle... Since it is a touristic hotel expect large crowds at breakfast and fast disappearing food. Staff try to make this work, somehow. Selection for breakfast is ok, but if you compare to top hotels, somewhat restrictive. You can also have half-board, but then you are stuck with German pensionaries mainly - this seems to be the hotel for a particular age group.
Very nice and modern flat, with hotel like equipment (premium shower gels, slippers, jam and Nutella portions), very helpful and friendly hosts (provided not only free map but also rechargeable card for bus commuting and offered their small pool to use for our child). Own garden with deck chair and small toys for children. Nearest beach is within 20 minutes’ walk, but local bus stops within 5 minutes and this can take you to Portoroz centre or to Piran.
We had an amazing time staying at Forgotten Garden Apartments in Portorož. The staff was super friendly and ready to recommend the best activities for your stay, we felt really welcome all the time. Despite the rooms being a bit smaller, they are well equipped, comfortable and cozy. A big plus for us that the place is dog-friendly and there is even a small private garden that guests can use. We would 100% recommend choosing this place for your stay!
Nice looking, clean, and newly reconstructed apartment with really a great view of the sea bay. Everything was really perfect. Perfect location for us, as we prefere to not stay in the center. A 5-minute walk to the coast is not really a problem . We did a lot of nice walks to Portoroz and Piran as well from both sides of peninsula. The host lady was really great and we thank her very much for her incredible hospitality.
Casa Rosa is a very nice hotel, renovated and with a new look. Bed was very comfy. Big balconies. Housekeeping was perfect. The women that cleaned out room( we were on the 4th floor) was so polite and helpful. She did amazing job.
Staff at the Metropol were we had our meals is also very helpful and very polite. The bartender was really nice and very polite.
Food was good. Staff at the spa was very nice.
Beautiful hotel with pristine rooms and large private patio overlooking the Adriatic. The rooftop patio lounge was a lovely way to end the evening watching the sunset while enjoying drinks and a complimentary snack. The hilltop location provided for excellent views of the area. It was an easy walk to the beach—although a the return is a bit of a hill climb, it is worth it.
The hotel was good value for money. We loved the terrace and the free first refill of the minibar. Despite the fact that it is an older hotel with a more classic design, the hotel looks well maintained. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good with a lot of choice. The location is good and the room with the sea view was a good choice for only 8 additional EUR.
Nice big hotel directly at the sea side with private beach equiped with sunbeds&umbrellas. Basically just few steps out from the hotel doors. Promenade from Portoroz to Pirane directly crossing the hotel, so you can just decide to turn to left or right and then walk and walk😉 Staff is kind, food is dellicious served at spacy and elegant restaurant .
It's the perfect place for family vacation and pets also.
Location is out of noise and very close to entire scrounging and trips to Slovenian, Croatian, and Italian touristic places ...
Beach side, walking, jogging ...
Rent bike is also a good choice...
Super markets very close ...
The owner is more than perfect and reachable all the time.
The location is great, the view from the balcony is amazing (at least from the fifth floor). Pool is also fine- enough sunbeds and clean water. Room looks like luxury room from the 70s, which was kind of cute. For sure it's very well cleaned.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay but it's not a 5 star hotel
Perfect place to stay in Portorož. The view is stunning and the hotel offers everything you need. We got free parking in front of the hotel. Breakfast was so good. And you have few minutes walk to the center.
Great location, wonderful breakfast, clean and spacious room, and great service. The staff was polite and helpful. I enjoyed the stay at Hotel Marko. Great value for money. Would come back again.
Location was excellent - near main road and main Portorož beaches. Breakfast was delicious and versatile and was just as expected for this kind of hotel. Room and the bathroom were spatious.
Odlična lokacija sa pogledom na more. Plaža je na minut od smeštaja. Objekat se nalazi izmedju Pirana i Portoroza tako da se sve moze obici peske. Ispred smeštaja se nalazi parking.
Hotel Marko is one of the best hotels in Portoroz with a nice view, wonderful garden and a good service. The breakfast was excellent. The room was comfortable.
