Staff was great - loved that I got a text that I could then ask a question or two when needed. Room was nice and comfortable. Breakfast was a full breakfast (lots of options) and very good. Beautiful white sand beaches, not too crowded and the area around the beach isn’t a gaudy tourist trap. No boardwalk filled with crap. Very family oriented and safe. Decorum and class haven’t been shoved aside for the masses like at more well known beaches. Moms won’t have to cover juniors eyes on the beach.

beach very nice. very poor city planning.

beach very nice. very poor city planning. The houses on the beach area all on Hwy A1A and very close to the VERY busy and noisy road. It is actually a dangerous road...too close to houses and people speed. the downtown was fun....great restaurants and the Amelia Island boat tour was great.

Like the location, not too crowded, traffic is good, lots of places to eat. Road biking and trails are a plus and love the downtown area and thrift and antique stores. Not overly commercial really feels like a residential area, not touristy.

We love the historic areas and the quaint downtown shopping. The beach is 5 minutes away and there is golf for anyone interested. Also, we took a boat trip from the harbour to Cumberland Island which was very informative. Fernandina has excellent restaurants too.

Way bigger than a hotel. Close to almost every thing.

Way bigger than a hotel. Close to almost every thing. Washer, dryer, and dishwasher were welcomed. Felt safe. Some website info did not match. Videos about how to check in were helpful. The no pets policy not enforced. White cat hair on rugs, carpet and/or floor. Inspection notification came a day after the inspection. Facilities fellow and inspector just walked in with no knocking. Facilities guy thought the place was unoccupied. Communication glitch.

it has lots of historical information and things to check out the museum of natural history that is housed in an old jail thta has recently been redone just a little bit but its still authentic and they have a historian lead tour i think saturdays its worth checking out. if you are a person that likes to sample spirits there is a place called marlin\barrel that does tastings daily everything they provide you is made on site the vodka in particalar is super smooth and nice. for food you have to check out moon river pizza you think you know the best pizza just try theirs. lots of good shopping downtown. I know this will sound strange but there is a Walmart there that is not a super Walmart not a marketplace, but it is the size of a Walmart store when they first opened and it just takes me super far back to see what i grew up with to what i have now if you find this Walmart i highly recommend you go there for a time warp back to the 90's lol if you are into that.

Very good breakfast with options that changed slightly daily which was nice. Good service by the staff. Pool area was nice to swim and sit around in the evening before heading out. It was in the sun all day. The tap water machine was broken at the hotel but the reception staff were on hand to give me bottled water instead.

The hotel's location was truly idyllic. Just steps away, a delightful selection of restaurants to explore. Beach access was a breeze, allowing us to spend carefree days soaking up the sun and sand. To top it off, the hotel offered a refreshing pool and inviting hot tub, perfect for unwinding after our adventures.

The cottages were very clean and spacious. They are half a mile to the beach, and there are about 5 restaurants walking distance. We didn't hear all the noise you usually hear at a hotel. We definitely will rebook. Plus, the prices were better than the others in that area. I definitely recommend it.

Very convenient location, at the corner of Sadler and S Fletcher, a block from the ocean. Great breakfast included! For live music fans, the hotel is across the street from Sliders seafood restaurant, and they have live music most every day.

We liked the "beach cottage" atmosphere, with the raised walkways to the cottages. Also, it feels more private than having to walk through a hotel/motel lobby.
