The host couple were some of the friendliest proprietors I ever met and I travel a lot both on business and for personal leisure. The owner has a life-long experience in the hospitality business and it really shows. His wife is equally helpful, who speaks multiple languages and is a German native speaker. They both went our of their way to advice us on what to do in the short time we had and assisted us with restaurant reservations. When a motion detector in the room caused the electric plugs to turn off, it was fixed immediately the next day. Breakfast was special in the sense that every morning the host purchased and presented some fresh pastry or typical breakfast food from a local bakery. We enjoyed the closeness of a nice beach, just across the street. Overall we had a wonderful stay!

We stayed in this apartment for the second time. Just like the first time everything was perfect. Maria and her parents were wonderful hosts, very friendly and helpful. For example, Maria and/or her parents asked us always when we met if everything is OK, and Maria's Mother offered us cookies and hand-made limoncello. The apartment was cleaned daily and the bed sheets & towels were regularly changed. When you travel with hand baggage only, very useful are toiletries provided by Maria. The location is great. It's a few minutes to the beach, 5 minutes to the bakery with fresh rolls. Very close to bars, restaurants and shops, and it's a 20 min walk along the seaside promenade to the old town. Because of our evening's flight, Maria agreed for late check-out. We could stay in our apartment until 17:00 ! Thanks, Maria

A total WOW place to stay. Just gorgeous. Giannis was the most delightful host, and his mama made the cake and liqueur which was in our room. Definitely a family business with lovely people. Great balcony and loved sitting and people watching. Room was spotless and spacious. Location is brilliant, approx 15 minutes walk from bus station. Right in the old town with wonderful alleyways filled with character shops and restaurants and only around 300m to the sea. If you like Chania, you will LOVE Rethymno!
