The location is perfect. We had a view of the ski hill from our bedroom and the deck, and we could walk outside, put our skis on, and ski down to the lifts. At the end of the day, we could ski back following a short side trail right to the building. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped with everything one could possibly need for making meals and snacks, and the large island is great to sit at for meals and coffee.
