Very relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed time in the backyard with a cold beer after a long hike - exactly what we needed!! Not a fancy place, a bit dated, but enjoyable and comfortable. Lots of 80's decor in an old mansion. Very clean. Super friendly, chill hosts. Good breakfast too. Very quiet at night and a perfect location for hiking the Malerweg!

We loved that the hotel was a 20 minute walk from the train station along the river. We stayed in room 7 which is on the top floor and has a balcony overlooking the river. It was the perfect size for me and my friend. We could've easily stayed here for an extra night. The hotel restaurant had pretty decent food too. For a cheap, no frills spot, I would highly recommend.
