The room was clean and quiet overlooking a tree lined street. The large double bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was value for money and suited our needs. The staff were excellent, very helpful with excellent customer service skills. An absolute great stay.

It's not, however, a destination hotel, which is what we understood from the description and it really is not a 'boutique' hotel and does not come with any of the amenities traditionally associated with boutique hotels. For the room rates, I believe that breakfast should be included. The hotel works for a one night stay but no longer.

We were at the ground floor facing a noisy room and it was very quiet. Nice rain shower. Good support from staff when requesting a parking place, which is private, a plus when traveling. Very well placed to access the city centre on foot or the port and ferries.
