And Agen is a surprising little town with good restaurants and pedestrian streets with very nice shops. It is not Florence but it is a place where to rest, may have a "balade" over the canal du midi that conncects the Mediterranean sea with the ocean. If you are on the way between Toulouse and Bordeaux, go there, you will not regret it
