Without exaggerating, we can honestly say that staying 2 nights at this lovely B&B was a real highlight of our trip to Vence, a charming village close to St. Paul de Vence on the French Riviera. The Jardin D'Elma is tucked into a small side street within a few steps of the entrance to the old town. We arrived the day of Halloween and the town was buzzing with families in costume celebrating on the nearby garden square. Our wonderful hosts, Laurence (a female name in France) and Eric, were extremely kind and caring in every way. We felt like guests in their lovely home, which includes a small indoor pool with a Jacuzzi. It was the perfect place to relax after hiking the hills surrounding Vence and seeing the glittery towns of Nice and Cannes in the distance. If you chose to stay here and travel by car as we did, please note that there are 3 parking lots in walking distance from the B&B. It is also possible to stop and drop off your bags before going to the parking lot. In addition to the excellent breakfast offered by Laurence and Eric (French breads, fruit, crepes, fresh OJ, etc.), the table is surrounded by a library of excellent books (mostly in French).
