Sophia’s B and B is a perfect place for an overnight stay on arrival to Rome airport or prior to a flight. Located in the town of Fiumicino, the room had everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is nicely decorated with a comfortable bed, reliable WiFi and great bathroom. The instructions for self check-in was clear and concise. Sophia provides an ample Italian breakfast in the morning between 7-10 AM. We were able to walk to a restaurant upon arrival which was helpful. My suggestion on transportation…just use the FCO taxi to and from the airport. It is easier than trying to take the infrequent bus service. The cost for us was 20 Euro each way.

    It's a very nice, quiet place, close to the airport, with a supermarket and places to eat within walking distance. There is a shared fridge that you can use. The breakfast has both sweet and savory options, and fresh fruit, which is not always the case in Italy, in my experience. The hosts are what make it an exceptional place to stay. They made sure we had everything we needed, arranging transport to the airport, even ironing some clothes and making sandwiches for us for lunch. In short, everything was great, and we would return!

Getting into the property was very easy and convenient. Off-street parking was great. Beds were comfortable, Heating systems worked great. Showers were good with plenty of hot water. Private and very quiet except for the neighborhood rooster.

    Great location and plenty of space. Excellent breakfast provided. Kitchen well equipped with utensils, coffee and oil, comfortable bed, small sunny courtyard. Well heated by gas radiators.

    Near the airport, better to take hotel's shuttle service as cheaper than the train. Big room, quiet even though it was near the airport

    Quiet, comfortable, excellent breakfast. Its an airport hotel so the location is excellent for getting to and from the airport. We were very impressed how efficiently they processed us when we arrive at 1:30 am. A very helpful shuttle back to the airport.

    I chose it because my flight was very early in the morning and it's close to the airport. It was right outside the train station but I was surprised to know that from city center to the hotel, the only public transportation was train, not even subway. And it was not so cheap for more than 2 people. If you travel with more than 2, stay comfortably in the city and take a taxi to airport would be a better option. There was a small shopping mall right next to the hotel so it's kind of convenient.
