Very quiet and beautiful location, easy to find, driving from Siegsdorf to Inzell, in the middle of Hammer you will find the exit to Meisau, just 3km later you will be directed to house number 4,5 and 6 up the hill to the right. The Baumgartner family are super friendly, helpful and great hosts. You will stay in a nice and roomy apartment, a separate bedroom and beautiful bathroom. A water kettle, fridge and cutlery are also in the room. In the morning they serve a healthy breakfast with a wonderful choice of fruit, bread and drinks.

Pension Langerspacher, a property with a terrace, is located in Grabenstätt, 40 km from Klessheim Castle, 43 km from Europark, as well as 44 km from Red Bull Arena. The owners/managers gave us an excellent breakfast and while language was a bit difficult sometimes, the mother (don’t know which her name was) went out of her way to engage us in conversation in spite of the fact my German is poor and her English non-existent. Her daughter was very attentive and, when I asked for a few extra towels, the house cleaner was very friendly and obliging. All-in-all, this place ended up being a very nice place to stay. Loved the beautiful stairway!

Breakfast was delicious with an excellent choice. I particularly liked the self-serve coffee machine and the ability to make myself a double-shot cappuccino. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful with huge gardens and a short tree-lined path to the lake. The box spring bed was a delight.

This Alpine-style hotel is located in Rottau, 4 km from Lake Chiemsee. Gasthof Fischstüberl offers spacious rooms, free WiFi and a balcony offering panoramic views of the Bavarian Alps. One of the best family run guest houses that we stayed in. Very clean, well renovated. Service and stuff was super super good. Thet also have a restaurant with fresh fish that is great for dinner. Can only recommend 100% they also didn't charge us for thw beer in the evening abd left ua some chocolate as welcome.

This traditional Bavarian guest house is situated at the foot of the Hochfelln mountain, amid the scenic hiking routes, mountain bike trails and cross-country ski runs of the Chiemgau region. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast perfect, location perfect with direct access to Hochfelln mountain. But really what made this special for us was the welcoming nature of the hosts.

Wonderful and helpful hosts. Wonderful room. Everything was perfect. One of the best places I have stayed in.
