We can truely recommend staying at Casa Kapuas!

Our bungalow was spotlessly clean when we arrived and they offered to clean our room daily, the AC was amazing, we loved the hammock outside and our bed was super comfortable. The breakfast included was really tasty and big portions, it was such a nice surprise that it included a fruit salad and different local sweet treat every day - definitely the best value breakfast we have had included in a room price. Zakki, the owner, is amazing - he is so helpful and friendly! He cooked us a vegan Indonesian dinner when he had time and even took my boyfriend snorkelling! All the staff are really lovely :) We loved the location of the bungalow, some people may prefer to be closer to more bars/restaurants but it is really quiet and the beach on the North side of the island is really nice and there are lots of places to eat and drink within a 5-10 minute walk. Zakki also has lot of recommendations for other places in Indonesia to visit as well as recommendations for Gili Air such as where you can find a good pool to use etc. We are already planning our next trip to come back here, thank you for the most incredible stay!

Gili Trawangan is 2.2 km from the bed and breakfast, while Tanjung is 11 km away. I can’t wait to return!! From the moment I arrived I knew I wanted to come back and stay much longer. I was greeted warmly by Made and his huge smile and immediately served a lovely cold tea with ice which was so appreciated on the hot, humid day! The property is beautiful, filled with hibiscus and other blooms and obviously so well cared for. My traditional bungalow was well designed and decorated, with a very soothing vibe. The bed and pillows were so comfy and the space was squeaky clean. The attached open-air bathroom was also thoughtfully laid out and decorated with shower, toilet and sink...all worked perfectly. There was a covered entrance with table chairs and hammock for sitting out. There is a pool with umbrellas and loungers, the pool was super clean and the space was relaxing and lovely. There were so many extra touches that really stood out...a flat screen TV, hair dryer, shampoo and body wash, bicycles to use, booking massages or activities, a delicious dinner menu and the availability of cold and hot beverages throughout the day. Breakfast was delicious and served with a big smile by Reeka, a wonderful way to start the day! Homemade bread, fresh fruits, banana pancakes, eggs, coffee/ tea and juices- delish!! Of course, the best parts of Meno Dream are the owners and staff! Made and Bernie have created a true oasis on this little island, it is clear that they put their heart and soul into their resort! Their staff, Reeka and Ari, take very good care of you and the property. They are all so warm, kind and well organized. If you are lucky you will meet Lana, Made and Bernie’s adorable daughter, she may play you her favorite songs and have a dance party! Thank you all for such a beautiful 5 days🙏🏽

Featuring garden views, Mirna Homestay features accommodation with terrace, around 700 metres from Gili Air Beach. With a garden, the 1-star guest house has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. We absolutely loved everything about our stay. Rooms were clean with mosquito nets which was great. Breakfast was always delicious with the most flavourful papayas and freshly squeezed orange juice, all made to accommodate early mornings for diving and taking the ferry. Warm showers were so nice after dive days. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful. Then rent bikes for a discount to guests which are in perfect condition.
