With mountain views, Sumatra Orangutan Discovery Villa is situated in Bukit Lawang and has a restaurant, full-day security, bar, garden, sun terrace and picnic area. Best place ever to chill and feel part of the jungle. I did not want to leave. The food is incredible and all the team are so friendly. Recommend to book your jungle trek also, we did 2 days which was perfect. Amazing experience and amazing spot. Thank you :)

I have stayed 4 days at SeaGate bungalows and it’s a beautiful place, I didn’t want to leave. Borja y Yuyun (the owners) are very caring and even after just few days the place felt more like a home away from home. It’s one of the best places I have stayed and I highly recommend it!

Situated in Bukit Lawang, Sumatra Cheeky Monkeys features accommodation with seating area. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. I stayed at the place for 2 nights, had a great tour with two guides working with the cheeky monkey. We saw monkeys, Orangutans(my two guides found them after about 2 hours of Trekking in the jungle), turtle, insects, plants, did a great tour for one day. Including rafting for about +/- 50 Euros/USD. The food in the cheeky monkey is quite expensive compared to other places in bukit lawang but it was really good. It definitely a recommendation, try the Gado-Gado - a vegetarian food. Chris from Austria

Fun Family Guest House n Jungle Tour is offering accommodation in Bukit Lawang. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Accommodation with a great view and a great restaurant right across the river. The owner, Putra, was very helpful and positive. There was nothing he couldn't arrange. I especially recommend going on a jungle trek with him because he definitely knows what he's doing.

Offering views of Mount Sinabung, Nachelle Homestay is a 15-minute walk from the centre of Berastagi. Free internet access is provided in public areas. The homestay is really nicely located and the family welcomed us with open arms :). It was no problem, finding the homestay with their instructions. The homestay is clean and the beds are comfortable. The view from the rooftop is amazing! Breakfast is made with a lot of love and is just perfect :). We really miss it! We booked a two days trips and enjoyed all of them! Sunrise hike from the vulcano is something everyone has to do :P. Especially with such an experienced and fun guide ;). We tried some local and exotic fruits, learned a lot of the village and the surroundings. In our opinion, Nachelle Homestay is perfect and totally recommended by us and we wish them the very best!
