Offering a garden and garden view, Snehatheeram Homestay is set in Alleppey, 3.2 km from Alleppey Lighthouse and 4.8 km from Alappuzha Railway Station. Binu and George and their family are the perfect hosts. They were SO KIND and even helped me receive a package at their house that I needed whilst travelling. They also arranged a taxi for us to the airport, and a boat to take us for the morning around the backwaters. The room was very clean and comfortable with great AC. The location was perfect for us - within 10 minutes walk there was the bus station, restaurants, the boat jetty, and temples. We explored the beach one evening and realised that’s where most of the foreign travellers are… made us even more glad about our choice! Wifi worked well for streaming movies, but we didn’t try working remotely. Communication in English was fine too I would 100% stay here again. Great value and overall experience.

Set within 11 km of Ambalapuzha Sree Krishna Temple and 14 km of Alappuzha Railway Station in Alleppey, Sunsets and Palm Trees features accommodation with seating area. The location on the river, the fact that there are only 4 rooms and the place is really peaceful, the decoration and the surrounding garden. The staff was discret and really helpful.

Set 700 metres from Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, 4.5 km from Napier Museum and 1 km from Kuthiramalika Palace, RAMAS GARDEN features accommodation situated in Trivandrum. Very nice staff, willing to help whenever it was necessary. Very well located. Very big and comfortable room. Very relaxing to stay in. Good wifi connection.

Kerala cottage is set on the seafront in Varkala, a few steps from Odayam Beach and 400 metres from Edava Beach. what a beautiful little cocoon after weeks of traveling. exactly what I needed. in this place my body could finally completely relax. a little house perfectly clean and comfortable, a beautiful beach, really kind people and good food. the reception helped me to book a taxi for my next stop. they even asked the driver to wait with me at the bus station in the middle of the night so I wouldn’t be alone. I would have stayed longer if I could have. you will enjoy this place and you will recharge your batteries here.

Set within 200 metres of Alleppey Beach and 2.6 km of Thumpoly Beach, Neela Waters - Beach Home provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Alleppey. Very nice and clean homestay right next to beach. I would recommend staying here.

Located within 600 metres of Fort Kochi Beach and 700 metres of Kochi Biennale in Fort Kochi, Casa Feliz features accommodation with seating area. We loved our stay at Casa Feliz and would definitely recommend staying here. The family who run the place are so friendly and willing to help with anything. We loved it here so much we ended up staying an extra 4 nights!

Landy Queen is set in Munnar, 1.9 km from Munnar Tea Museum, 10 km from Mattupetty Dam, as well as 17 km from Anamudi Peak. This bed and breakfast offers free private parking and a 24-hour front desk.... The hospitality and helpfulness were amazing. I think I wouldn't have enjoyed my stay Munnar as much if it wasn't for the people working there. Very kind, helpful and a joy to be around :)

La Lune Fort Kochi is situated in the Fort Kochi district of Cochin, and is 200 metres from Kochi Biennale. Joseph and Nimmy are the most wonderful hosts . They completely went out of their way for our comfort and were so helpful , friendly and just lovely people . The atmosphere is so serene , it is spotlessly clean and the location couldn’t be better to explore the surrounds . We hadn’t been to india for 25 years so we were a little apprehensive and Joseph put us completely at ease straight away and we loved it there . We were very sad to Leave and already would like to return ! We were privileged to be in Catherine’s room ! The only regret I had is not knowing the language so I couldn’t speak to Joseph’s mother . You must go ! You will have no regrets :) Perfect place!

Located within 4.3 km of Kollam Railway Station and 4.9 km of Thangassery Light House in Kollam, Ashtamudi Villas provides accommodation with seating area. Personal touch, the owner, Joseph, is extremely helpful, takes care of all your travel needs, gives you a little tour of Kollam. In short: really takes care of you and loves his job. We really had a pleasant stay, personal and nice. I can really recommend anyone who travels to Kollam to stay there. Btw: if you are interested in Hindu festivities and rituals, tell Joseph, he will find memorable trips. And yes: all your backwater trips will be taken care of, too
