Our host was most welcoming and helpful during our 7 day stay at this beautifully run Pensiunea . It was all very comfortable , and the common areas outside with tables chairs and a big comfy covered "swing"was a welcome addition to our spotless bedroom and bathroom . A separate wonderful shared kitchen with absolutely everything you could want to cook your meals , and extra tables and chairs if you want to sit inside ...all beautifully clean and bright . We were able to walk to all the attractions ,and boat ramp for our Delta Tour from our accommodation and 2 small markets were 5 mins away for basic needs . We enjoyed our stay immensely,and were able to communicate easily with our wonderful host... with Google translate . We are Australians and only speak English ....but we learnt so much from her ,which enhanced our visit . We were sad to leave this lovely Pensiunea and our caring host .

But you can also prepare your own food in the guest kitchen.There is also a mosquito safe dining/sitting room, which is nicely decorated. The landlady speaks good English and is very helpful. Her husband runs boat trips in the delta (Romanian only). You can even use 2 bicycles for free. The bus station, 3 restaurants, the supermarket are all very close.
