Situated in the centre of Oviedo within1.9 km from Bullring and a 3-minute walk to Plaza de la Constitución, Apartamentos Oviedo Catedral is 100 meters from the actual Oviedo Catedral. Wonderful hostess and great communication. The location is perfect for walking everywhere easily, the apartment was super clean , modern ,spacious and comfortable,kitchen fully equipped with dishwasher,perfect for a family.

This property went well beyond it’s description. It was full of loved pieces of the owner all tastefully placed through out adding to the exceptional feeling of being somewhere special. Our room was lovely with views of the garden and surrounding countryside. Beautiful bed linens, crisp new towels, everything was perfect! Add to this a host Manuel who is the kindest and most caring we have experienced in our travels. The breakfast reflects this with lots of homemade products to sample. We stayed an extra night and wished we could’ve stayed longer. We have promised to return and really hope we can.

The apartment was very clean with a well equipped kitchen and well stocked bathrooms. The two bedrooms were of good size, as were the 2 toilets. The water pressure was good. Excellent value for money. Very helpful hosts who were available on WhatsApp to assist throughout.

The breakfast provisions provided ie. croissants butter jam etc were unexpected and much appreciated as we had an early tour the following day. Having a self contained apartment was great especially having a washing machine and being located next to a laundromat meant we could dry our clothes in good time. The apartment is well appointed with everything we needed.

Cangas de Onis is a nice town, it has one high speed charger (for our electric car) at the bus station at walking distance, the centre has lots of good restaurants. There is a kayak rental place in Las Rozas (K2) for going downriver. At the bus station you can take the bus to the two lakes higher up in the mountains for a nice walk.
