Boasting a bar and views of lake, Rivalago B&B is a recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Cannobio, 18 km from Piazza Grande Locarno. The B&B, Rivalago is located on the waterfront and a moderate distance from the ferry embarcadero which I only used to arrive and depart. My room was spacious and comfortable with excellent cleaning service and a fabulous view of the lake. The B&B is in a quiet location and a short walk to the restaurants along the embarcadero. I chose Cannobio because it was considerded the prettiest town on the lake although not the most convenient for seeing gardens and palazzi. Those were easily reached by regular bus service, or boat. Gaia was very helpful in determining my connections and printing schedules for me. Commuting to the gardens was a breeze! The breakfast was fresh and varied, with more selection than I would ever have at home, which was a real treat! Both Matteo and Gaia were always available to answer questions and assist with whatever I needed. Matteo even found the program I wanted on Netflix and set it to English for me. Thank you both for making my stay so special.

Located 48 km from Piazza Grande Locarno, Lago Maggiore Bay offers accommodation with a patio, as well as a private beach area and pool with a view. Great location by the lake! Villa Vittoria offers accommodation in Stresa. The property has lake and garden views. All rooms have a balcony with mountain views. Very comfortable and clean. Great terrace with lake view. Also lake was viewed from all the rooms. Very pleasant and polite hosts. Easy to get to Stresa, just 15 min walking and you are on the boat stations and Lungo Lago

Al San Michele features rooms in Stresa. This guest house offers luggage storage space and free WiFi. Everything is just wonderful in this lovely house. It's super cozy, clean and bright. Location is more than perfect just across the lake and the ferry stop and 5 mins from city center as well. The stuff is extremely kind and welcoming. Would definitely go there again. The views are stunning, the hosts are fabulous. Their thoughtful presentation of the villa, drinks and food made our stay very special. Their personal history with the villa made us feel honored to be their guests.

A recently renovated apartment, Le Ochette Di Stresa offers accommodation in Stresa. With city views, this accommodation features a balcony. The apartment has family rooms. Excellent location. It is near to the main square with lots of good restaurants. Only a few minutes wark to the water front also. Nice clean and modern flat. Lovely little balcony overlooking a bustling street during the day which was a very nice spot for breakfast.

She left for us in the apartment full of gifts (A small bottle of limoncello, cookies, a bottle of wine, milk, water and more... the score 10🏆🥇 is very appropriate for the apartment
