Everything is perfect at Tribe Yala. It is an incredible and unique glamping experience. The “tents” (it is more of a 5 star hotel suite) are clean, spacious, fully equipped (private wifi and AC) and comfortable. We also had a private jacuzzi. Besides, the food is exceptional (one of the best we have had in Sri Lanka). We did the one day safari and it was certainly one of our favorite days of our entire trip. You get to see many animals while being accompanied by a wildlife specialist (ours was Kusar and he is very knowledgeable and friendly). Staff from the hotel met us inside the national park to bring us a delicious Sri Lankan lunch. Finally, the staff of the hotel is amazing. Thank you Rua and Latchan for your friendliness and professionalism. We will come back for sure!

Our family recently visited Makini Bush Camp and we had an amazing time. The staff's kindness and helpfulness made our stay truly special. We were thrilled to witness incredible wildlife sightings, including graceful elephants, playful monkeys, and colorful birds. And the highlight of our trip was a breathtaking leopard sighting that left us in awe. The service provided was exceptional, and the staff went out of their way to engage our children. The cozy tented chalet allowed us to connect with nature while enjoying the comforts of a clean and well-maintained accommodation. When I booked there weren't a lot of reviews but all of the reviews were fantastic so I assumed that it was just newer and didn't have a lot of reviews. This was one of the only times that I felt let down by booking.com reviews. The staff at the place was very warm but there were more negatives about the property than positives.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay in this lovely camp and were extremely well looked after by Manu and his capable team. The camp itself was very peaceful and the tented accommodation luxurious. The food was excellent and they catered for my vegan wife brilliantly. The safari drives were very well done and we saw two leopards and a host of other wildlife. A very successful and pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay in Yala for very reasonable prices with including Yala safari. The tents were very clean, spacious, and comfortable with amazing showers. They were able to seamlessly arrange our safari through Yala, where we saw elephants, water buffalo, monkeys, deer, and leopards. The food was absolutely incredible and the camping staff were great. This place definitely lived up to our expectations.

Amazing property, amazing staff and amazing facilities. Has to be one of the best hotels I have stayed at by far. There is nothing in this facility that I would change!
