The people...Abdullah and the entire crew at Shakria are phenomenal ambassadors of the Bedouin People's famed hospitality ...from the welcome tea, to the evening gathering by their community tent, to the exotic Zaarb experience to the interaction with Baby camels...they were exemplary. Abdullah's uncle took us for a sunset jeep drive and helped us find an exclusive perch to view the sunset 🌇....brilliant photo op! Their location allowed me to do a short (4.5 km each way) to a hillock right opposite the Martian camp to catch a fabulous sunrise vista. Dinner and breakfast was traditional and plentiful...seeing that my wife took a fancy to their cookies ...an old gentleman at the camp stuffed our bag with a dozen of them ... just plain generous folks. One must mention Max and his cousin ..two beautiful dogs (Salukis..I think) kept the kids constant company! To end the trip, Abdullah offered our kids a free trot on their camels ...while a colleague of his helped us learn the camel lingo to go interact with the baby camels, under their mom's watchful eyes! And if that wasn't enough...they were the most competitively priced ..esp for a camp in the category offering an ensuite private bathroom. It was as though you were amongst friends.

Bedouin bunch camp is a recently renovated luxury tent in Wadi Rum, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. Comfortable, warm, silent tents (even in February), delicious dinner and breakfast, helpful, knowledgeable, kind hosts, excellent communication and organization of activities- all that we could have hoped for! We had a wonderful stay. Loved our full day tour!

We were there for 1 day in Wadi Rum and nothing can match this beautiful place. The staff, facilities, location, food etc. everything was amazing. Nothing can beat the feeling of landing on Mars. This is an amazing Bedouin camp where in addition to discovering the spectacular Wadi Rum desert you can also experience a bit from a Bedouin’s life. Our host Ahmed (also called Mr.George after 18.00) is a super nice guide and together with his family made us feel incredibly well: we took a 4 hour desert jeep tour guided by Ahmed’s father, a one hour sunset camel stroll and enjoyed a traditional dinner cooked by Ahmed himself .. spent two nights in the camp but would recommend even more .. it’s one of the most amazing places I’ve ever seen in my life .. different planet .. Scenery you will see in the movies filmed here: Star Wars, Dune, Lawrence of Arabia .. Amazing !!!

Everything , Ahmed and his father when we were arrived told us, upon now we are a big family and so it was. The Jeep tour was amazing , the food good! I recommend this experience to everyone.
