15 km from Askham Hall in Penrith, Inglewood Shepherd's Huts offers accommodation with access to a hot tub. There is a private entrance at the campground for the convenience of those who stay. The peace and quiet, located 10 minutes outside of Penrith on farming land, the loudest noise we heard during our stay was the goats grazing. The hut itself was lovely, clean, tidy and cozy, perfect for a quiet getaway. It was lovely to make a morning coffee, open the hut doors and sit outside and enjoy the views out into the dales. On an evening, you can enjoy a BBQ whilst waiting for the hot tub to warm up (this can take several hours, a tip might be to ask the owners to pre-heat it for you if possible, especially in the colder months), then relax around the fire pit. There was even a chilled bottle of Prosecco waiting for us in the fridge. Only communicated with the owner, Cleone, through e-mail as she informed us she had personal guests and would be busy.

Stunning location and views. Great for a young family-plenty of space to run around and explore. Awesome each pod having own outdoor facilities -bbq, fire pit, picnic table. Perfect spot to explore the Lake District. Walking, cute villages, pubs. Pod is well set up and great use of space. Perfect for family of 3-would love to stay longer.

Boasting garden views, Guides Getaway features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 24 km from World of Beatrix Potter. We were blown away by the beautiful location.Jo and Micheal were excellent hosts. The cabin the facilities made the whole shirt break amazing. We shall highly recommend this little gem to all our family and friends and be back ourselves soon. Rosie and Daisy our dogs were made to feel really welcome. Waking up there in the mornings was a delight.

Foxgloves and Ivy enjoys a location in Cockermouth, just 27 km from Cat Bells and 50 km from Brougham Castle. Everything was perfect was nice to be greeted and shown round by Phillipa given the keys and contact number if any problems talked about the local area where I discovered 2 old quarrys to walk the dogs and felt like home from home.

BlackJak Retreat is located in Grange Over Sands and offers a garden and a bar. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the campground free of charge. The caravan site is situated in a quiet area. The owner was friendly and very helpful when I had a little issue with finding the right pin code for the keybox. Recommend to everyone!

Boasting accommodation with a heated pool, Haven Lakeland 3 Bed Luxury Caravan is located in Flookburgh. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The caravan was lovely- clean and comfy. Everything you needed including towels tea towels etc Host thought of everything with some treats left - and some for our grandchildren - not expected but appreciated and a lovely touch- correspondence with owner second to none- he really wanted to make sure we had a great time

Situated in Flookburgh in the Cumbria region, Rydal Retreat Lakeland Holiday Park features a garden. This campground offers free private parking, a minimarket and free WiFi. The caravan is on a stunning park with its own lakes and lots to do. The caravan was comfortable and very clean. Great price and would definitely return if given the chance. The owners gave great instructions and were only happy to help with any questions we had.

Renison's Farm, a property with a garden, is set in Penrith, 26 km from Askham Hall, 22 km from Brougham Castle, as well as 24 km from Whinfell Forest. Loved our stay so relaxing! Hot tub amazing, view was amazing… we spent the evening in the hottub then bbq and a glass of wine by the fire! So relaxing! The only downfall per se the composer toilet but hey ho you can survive you get the most relaxing time in return.

Elite Holiday Caravan, a property with a terrace, is situated in Bassenthwaite, 32 km from Buttermere, 24 km from Whinlatter Forest Park, as well as 25 km from Cat Bells. The caravan was the best we have ever stayed in very well equipped clean and spacious.
