The house and the surroundings are clean and peaceful. The building is well equipped. There was room for everything, our family of 5 had a great time. We did not feel lacking. The cosy cast iron convector heater provided a pleasant warmth despite the cool weather. Our requests and questions were promptly answered by the hosts, thank you! We will return here again!

Kampeerplaats Glamping Essenhof is a recently renovated campground in Aagtekerke, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. The camping site was nice and quiet. The sanitary facilities were very modern and clean. The outdoor kitchen facilities were great. The owner was very friendly and helpful. It was a pleasant stay. Great for stargazing. Near the beaches and supermarkets. Tank station is next door.

Chalet direct aan Waddenzee is situated in Westerland, 1.1 km from Lutjestrand, 17 km from Den Helder Zuid Station, as well as 19 km from Den Helder Station. We can only reccomend Chalet for Families with kids /Pairs ,etc. We were with 2 small kids. It is an excellent location for relaxing and enjoying the sunset from the terrase. One can walk with a dog, hiking the dunes, biking. It is just 5 m from Chalet. It is quite there. For families with kids: we have visited navy musem (den helden) / Castle (Medemblik). There is a excellent cafe where you can eat or buy fish (Vis van Havenzicht) just about 10 min. drive from the location. We strongly reccomend it too. Just nearby there is a beach for children (Lutjestrand ) with playground and so on...
