great reception staff! They provided excellent advice on all issues and were as responsive as possible 👍. Mom's room was comfortable, clean and well soundproofed despite the proximity of the railway 👍 itself. The hotel area is very thoughtful and pleasant)

This beautiful place really exceeded my expectations. The location is just perfect! lake Hallstatt is right behind the hotel and literally less than a min walk away. A lovely lake side play area for kids too ... You can take a local ferry to go to Hallstatt side from behind the hotel and avoid the driving/parking hassle near the main tourist parking areas. Breakfast was really lovely (a good mix of cold+warm ) and the staff were really warm and helpful. We just stayed for a night but how I wish we had stayed longer!

The apartment is great - clean, quiet, comfortable. The host made us feel welcomed. Everything in the apartment was thought trough, so you would enjoy your time here and have what you need. The bed was extra comfortable. There was plenty information regards surrounding area, hiking trails. We loved every moment while staying here. Would definitely come back again.

we enjoyed the location, the little and charming bungallows, the rich breakfast and the outstanding multilingual staff. Additionally, the activities to do are numerous (biking, hiking, kayaking...) if you would like to avoid the touristy Hallstadt. You can go by bike anywhere, even to hallsdtatt. We drove from Vienna to the localtion of the hotel. however, you can also arrive to hallstadt by train and then rent a bike to the place; or travel to town of Obertraun (Obertraun train station is 20 min walk from the hotel). The staff will recommend (and make the bookings fro you) at many great and good quality restauratnts.

It is a very cosy tiny house! We loved the woody character of the house and it had all the facilities you need. The location is great in a beautiful calm town within a few kilometres from the busy Hallstatt. The train station is nearby, so you can take the train to explore other places. Also the boat to Hallstatt is nearby. There are many hiking trails with different levels and difficulties. The owners left some fresh eggs from their chicken 🍳 That was very sweet of them. The supermarket of Obertraun is also nearby, maybe 10min walking. We really enjoyed our stay!
