Kutna Hora is easy to get to from the Main Railway Station...
Kutna Hora is easy to get to from the Main Railway Station in Prague. Journey time is about one hour. You need to take a taxi from the station to the center of town...or a bus... Plenty of interesting things to see their...some nice forest walks, very good restaurants. A welcome relief from the crowds of Prague. Worth staying at least a couple of nights

Beautiful old town. came here for the Sedlec ossuary but didnt realise the town itself was so charming and historic. If you enjoyed the sights of Prague you will enjoy here too. much smaller level and less touristed but well worth a visit.

Due to snowy weather and traffic problems, arrived later (17:45) than planned, so not really time to look around the town. Went out for dinner. Immediately after breakfast had to leave to return to the airport. Even though we paid Booking.com online at the time of booking. When checking out, they insisted that we had not paid. This took a little time to resolve, which made us a bit late to arrive at airport.

From the balcony I had a wonderful view of St. Barbara Church (a Unesco World Heritage), in the evening illuminated so that it looked to have a glow around it. Breakfast was plenty, one day a buffet and the other made to request. I arrived on a Saturday early afternoon and the laundromat in town was already closed. One of the staff then took my laundry and did it in the hotel's washing machine, for free! What a service! Staff was friendly and very helpful.

By the way.. vegetarians are at the right address next door (Čtyři sestry) they had some nice vegetarian meals on the menu.
