Nice location. My room was clean but the furniture was old and the walls needed a coat of paint. The shared bathroom was freshly renovated and clean. I think most of the rooms on my floor where more "up to date" then mine.

The hostess was so friendly when we arrived. She works in the store and left the store to show my daughter and I the albergue and get us settled. The patio is beautiful, and the location was amazing.

I didn't have any reservation but they allowed me in. Since my legs were so bad they helped to change from 2nd floor to 1st floor and to bottom bed which was super helpful. Albergue also offered pilgrimage meal.

We thought Sarria would have a lot to offer since it is a major hub for Pilgrims. The historical section is so charming and has a handful of fun restaurants and hostels. Wish it had more boutique—like hotels b/c, otherwise, Sarria seems to lack charming housing options. There is a great store at the bottom of the hill as you are about to ascend up the infamous stairs to the historical section and out of town on with your walk. They have anything one would need for the Camino and there is a great pharmacy across the street as well.

Room on the ground floor was very spacious, bright.
Room on the ground floor was very spacious, bright. Lovely hot water, clean towels and toiletries provided. If doing the Camino walk id definitely recommend this place.
Great location and friendly staff.
The hotel was a perfect stopover, directly situated on the Camino. Check in was extremely easy. The owner was delightful and so very helpful. The room was fabulous- extremely comfortable bed, luxury bathroom with fabulous shower and generous toiletries. Lots of nice extra touches too - bottles of water, mini cakes by the bedside, the ability to make tea. I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.
The Pensión could not have been in a better location. It was right on the Camino path leading out of Sarria. The managing agent was amazing. She spent a considerable amount of time to help us to get accommodation for the next 4 nights as everything was booked out. She also explained where we could buy some groceries as it was Sunday and most places were closed.
The location was right on the Camino and towards the top of a hill in the old town. When starting at the beginning of your day you would not need to walk up the hill. You are close to the Sarria sign. The restaurant location below was really convenient since I went right before the official season opened and there was not a lot open at that time.
The albergue scores 10 out of 10 for the Camino pilgrim. A wonderful country hotel with lovely atmosphere and good food and kind staff, actively frequented by the local Spanish people, mixed with a welcoming comfortable pilgrim albergue, at a top location just beyond Sarria. All good!
The location is excellent to start El Camino, the room was exactly as the picture in the website, the staff was friendly and very helpful. You can get the passports for the Camino & get your stamp at the hotel. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom was spacious
The La Cason de Sarria was our favorite accommodation on the Camino de Santiago. The refurbished old buildings were lovely. Wish we could have been there when the flowers arrived. Marcella, the owner, was very personable and helpful.
Room was like a suite, very luxurious and comfortable! Hotel owners were very prompt and helpful. They offered laundry services which was a plus! Centrally located and the dinner recommendation was outstanding!
The owner was super helpful in planning our stay. Sarria was the beginning of our Camino and she helped us navigate our journey. She used a translator app which was helpful. Great location to begin camino.
Very clean, nice hotel.Great place, located on the pilgrimage route of the Camino de Santiago (El Camino Francés). There are 2 restaurants near the hotel. Definitely recommended🇪🇸😊
Very clean property with a wonderful lady at the reception. We would definitely book this place again if we come back to Sarria. It’s a great starting point for the Camino.
The location was perfect, the breakfast was delicious and satisfying. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this cozy warm hotel. 🏨
The building is a charming stone farmhouse converted into small hotel/ restaurant/ gift shop. The food was very good and room was comfortable. Staff was very helpful.
What I like is the beautiful garden and great location of the hotel. The room and bathroom were clean although we had to share the bathroom with other travelers.
