The buffet breakfast was excellent, the room was very nice, and the location is great, just a couple of minutes' walk from the seafront in a quiet neigbourhood with off street parking and about 20min walk from Margate old town along the promenade. The host Jim, also made us feel very welcome and was very friendly. We only booked for 1 night but would like to have stayed longer.

The property was really awesome. It’s so spacious and I really like the arcade machine game consoles that were there. We really enjoyed it. Another things is the sunset view that we’ve witness in the master’s bedroom. And of course, the jacuzzi *chef’s kiss* perfect!!! We would definitely come back!!

Margate like many other coastal towns suffers from a lack of investment and some of the oldest and most interesting properties are closed and boarded up.

Haven't visited Margete in over 20 years and was pleasantly surprised. The beach was lovely and sandy, with an actual sauna on the beach and some activities for kids, was nice to watch the yachts sailing around the little harbour, plenty of amusement arcades Nice little market in the old town, mainly craft/clothing items. Plenty of good places to eat/drink. Pete's fish and chips was lovely. Also ate at The Sundowners (LGBT) bar (which has a terrace overlooking the sea) and food was lovely there too! Margate is bustling with life and great for a day out or longer if you fancy!!

Didn’t like Margate as much as Ramsgate not many pubs there, the only decent place is the mechanical elephant other places were expensive bars which were not my scene no karaoke venues like Ramsgate, just like Guildford the rodboro buildings in the centre and very few pubs in a big town which are all spread out of the town instead of being in the centre, it’s one of those towns with more tea places and diners and less pubs in the towns, can’t beat my number one town Reading in Friar street.

Lots to do and see but be aware everything shut on Mondays.
Lots to do and see but be aware everything shut on Mondays. I visited the Turner gallery, shell grotto, crab museum. I didn't have time to see the caves. Great sunsets. Loads of places to eat. I would highly recommend the Bull's Head for Sunday lunch. Best roasties ever! The Olimpia Bakery does coffee and amazing cakes.

I loved the fact that Seaview was in the old town of Margate, directly opposite Turner Contemporary and beautiful beach. Useful information folder, recommending everything from places to eat drink, visit etc. Loads of free street parking, regular buses to surrounding areas. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, be that in restaurants, shops or the bus drivers. A wonderful experience!
The rooms was exceptionally clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a really nice sleep.
Breakfast was amazing! There was a little garden behind the breakfast room and it was lovely!
Morag, the host, was very welcoming and helpful. It mad me felt like home. I’d say staying at the Rosslyn court was the best memories in Margate!
Totally recommend this place and will definitely visit again !
Unexpected Prosecco on check in was a very welcome surprise! Staff were excellent, bedroom & bathroom very clean & good facilities. Late night bar very welcome upon our return from the restaurant with a lovely covered area in the courtyard. The breakfast was extremely good & certainly couldn't complain about the portion size! All in all a great hotel for a break to Margate.
It was just what I was after. Nice room with all the facilities I’d expect. Super clean hotel. Really friendly, helpful people. In a very quiet road a stones throw from a lovely sandy beach and a short walk to Margate main sands for a sauna, swimming and award winning coffees and breakfasts. Easy walk from the station. Excellent, thanks!
Excellent apartment with the best view!
Spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need including some lovely toiletry packs in the bathroom.
Couldn’t ask for a better location in margate, right across from the beach.
Helpful communications before and throughout the trip.
Fabulous stay - would most definitely return!
The apartment is right in front of Margate Main Sands, so incredible views. There's lots of restaurants and pubs nearby plus the Turner gallery and the independent shops in the Old Town. The apartment itself was really comfortable and well stocked in terms of glasses and crockery. There was also tea and coffee which was great.
We are used to modern hotels which we choose because we know exactly what each room contains. This is fine. Walpole bay on the other hand is a real hotel, and that alone was a treat. However the Hotel is also a true experience which made a good night's stay into a very special experience. Thank you all very much
Wonderfully welcoming and helpful hosts Kim and Teresa, great breakfast, clean and tidy room and bathroom facilities, and also very quiet. Location can't be beaten if you're using Margate station as it's a minute away. A traditional seaside hotel of the type that is sadly disappearing in favour of anonymous chains.
Very unique hotel in Margate, we had a beautiful room. Staff(we only met 1 lady) was lovely - she even showed us around the recording studio there! Facilities were great and very luxurious feel to the place; breakfast was also delicious.
The Apartment had great views to the Golden Sands of Margate. It was modern well equipped and warm. Walking distance to the Turner Gallery Old Town and shops. The staff were very responsive when we had a minor problem so very reassuring
the feel, the aesthetic, the location, the sea view, the cleanliness. Everything about the hotel ticked the button for me. cute and cozy space with the right vibe. I would definitely go again if I ever decide to stop at Margate.
Staff were very polite as you entered they helped me with my bags as I had a room upstairs. For a budget hotel it was clean, tidy and I can say I've been there twice now and I will be going bk there every time I visit margate
Location was great with a sea views. Ideal walking distance to the Centre of Margate. The two en-suites were a real plus. The kitchen was nicely equipped and very clean as appeared to be recently refurbished.
Location for looking around the Margate and local coast line, and the cost was half of other hotels, but it reflected in the amenities. Double room , double bed with on suite. TV and tea n coffee facilities.
superbly decorated and finished , everything you need for a short break !!!! decent furnishings , very clean and fresh ….. a great price . would pick this over any hotel Margate has to offer !!!!!!
Very good breakfast. The room was in keeping with the historic image the hotel projects. The bathroom was lovely. The hotel staff helped us to get dinner delivered.
Perfectly located, brilliant view, lots of space and seating, stylish and modern. Appreciated the fact there were references to Margate in the decor/pictures.
