The best hotel in Peraia.
The room was clean and the personal was very friendly. Also, at the reception we received a better room than we booked.
Thank you for everything Golden Star City Resort! You were amazing!

We initially booked the room as it is very close to Thessaloniki Airport (15 minutes by car) where we had to pick up our rental car the next day.
We were welcomed with a big smile and fruit salad. Stavros is a great host, warm-hearted and helpful.
We walked down to the beach and had some nice food and drinks. You can watch lovely sunsets from the pier.
We had the room with the double bed, Stavros provided a cooling fan and a little aircon.
It’s a charming old house with a lot of cats in the back garden :)

The staff was welcoming and kind! The apartment was very clean and has the best view of the sea. There is cleaning service every day. Biggest recommendations!
A sweet place close to Thessaloniki. It has everything you need. In November, when we were there, everything was working, most of the cafes and restaurants, which particularly delighted me. I think I will visit Pereu again.

Our flight was cancelled and I booked on short notice.
Our flight was cancelled and I booked on short notice. They had a room available and even called me to confirm I could check in early, which was great under the circumstances. Right on the seaside with beautiful views, it was a great surprise and excellent value which made our delay experience so much nicer

Peraia is a nice relatively small town, but has everything you'd need. Reasonable supermarkets in town are available. There is a pier from where you can get a boat to Thessaloniki. The beach itself is nice and not overly busy, but busier at weekends as gets crowds in from city.
The promenade is lined with bars and restaurants so whether it's a coffee, cocktail, beer or a relaxing Greek meal, there is plenty to whet the appetite. There are also a couple of small gaming places and you can hire kids bikes / scooters.
A water park (Waterland Thessaloniki) is 20 minutes away by car and the city is 30 minutes away which is well worth a visit with plenty of history, culture to see and the nightlife is also vibrant in the city.

We have been to Perea several times before and love the fact that it's away from the city's business yet still close enough. We have found Perea bit cleaner than previous times however unfortunately still seeing a fair amount of pollution on the streets, beach and ocean unfortunately. Restaurants are generally very well priced with good food. Worth getting the waiter to re-read you order since there is a language gap with locals that has caused some confusion before. Would also be great if they had no smoking restaurants and beaches but rather designated smoking areas. Non smokers, pregnant women and children are constantly exposed to second hand smoke and buds are littered everywhere. Would definitely be a hotspot and highly recommended after a clean up.

The place is ok-ish but this is the first place in Greece in which we aren't coming back for sure. :D There is a lot of restaurants but very few good one and the water/beach is very dirty (seagrass mostly).

Very average place (and beach). Nothing special to do.
Very average place (and beach). Nothing special to do. Also all the beaches nearby (in Thessaloniki) are average or bellow average. It is cheaper then standard Greek touristic places. And the best thing is that it is close to Thessaloniki which is very nice city to hangout.
The breakfast was very good with a lot of choice. The location of the hotel was also good, we stayed two nights between flights and the hotel is very close to Thessaloniki airport (~20 minutes by car) and next to the beach, so we were able to enjoy the sea and sand for 2 more days :). Nearby there are many cafes and restaurants, many game attractions for children (if you are interested in this style of pastime).
We were very impressed, after check in lovely mrs owner showed us how to prepared greek coffee🙏 her hospitality was so nice. Cleaning ladies did very good job every single day during our stay. ☺️ They refilled our coffee corner included fridge with cold water and milk. We love it. You are situated in the heart of Perea beach, where night life is under your balcony❤️ enjoy as much as we did.
The hotel staff are really wonderful and accommodating. Despite what other reviews have said, the hotel is wheelchair accessible, you need only to inform the hotel of your needs. We also enjoyed the restaurant, and the views from this property are really amazing! They even prepared a take away breakfast for us because our departure was so early.
The room was renovated and comfortable with a nice balcony. The hotel itself is perfectly situated in a quiet part of Perea. A few minutes walking distance either from the wild part of the beach that is empty and nice, or from the busier part (but not too crowded) that has all the amenities. The staff was also nice and helpful.
- Daily cleaning of the room
- AC was properly working
- Sea view
- Friendly personnel
- Location
- Dinner was delicious
- Cozy room equipped with minimum necessary things, e.g. TV, hair dryer, small fridge, room slippers
- Wi-Fi was good
- Hotel is in front of the beach and offers free sunbeds for their visitors
Although located in an old building, the apartment is fully renovated and sparkling clean. The apartment has great location, close to the beach and to restaurants and markets. It is fully equiped with everything you may need. The self check in process is very easy. The apartment has large balcony and strong wifi.
In overall, my vacations in Perea were great. Equipment in the room is very modern. Rooms are being cleaned every day (with towels changes). If you plan your vacations with children I recommend to rent bigger room. Perea is very nice place to take a rest. There is plenty of nice restaurants with sea view.
The room was small but very convenient, had everything you need for a short stay. The hotel had a private parking as well, air conditioning and the autonomic entrance system to the hotel (with the door codes) which is helpful when you are checking-in the room out of the reception working hours
The staff at the hotel were very helpful and ensured that our stay was wonderful, as always. Our room was clean and exceptional. The breakfast was good. The hotel was quiet and in a close vicinity for the airport. Many thanks to all the staff.
The location is good, close to the beach and no problem to park the car in front of the building. Apartment is well equiped, the kitchen has everything you need, it has a nice balcony. Overall good value for money.
The apartment was a very good size, so clean and airy. Perfect location for perea and thessaloniki Airport. The host was very keen to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
