The location was wonderful and the sense of being in a genuine Greek home not a soulless hotel. We enjoyed that it was in a quieter part of Symi. It was well equipped and the owners were very responsive.

There are lots of very good restaurants in Symi all within easy distance of the Pitini-Sevasti house. There are also some lovely walks to places such as Emporio Bay and around the beautiful streets of Symi.

Symi is always special. This was my first time going there for Easter. It was awesome to see family and friends. Everyone on Symi is friendly. The restaurants are some of the best in Greece. Go to Panormitis, walk the Kali Strata, visit the shops and enjoy!

Everything was very good.
Everything was very good. The only problem was the meet and greet, which didn’t happen. We had to find the place ourselves and even when we got there they weren’t expecting us. Thank goodness the cleaner was there to let us in. Otherwise, all was good. Would definitely recommend this place, room 8.

Symi is very beautiful and there are some lovely restaurants along the harbour. We would recommend walking up to the lovely church on top of the hill that you can see from the harbour as the view is fantastic. The closest beach didnt seem to have much there so and was very small so we walked along the rugged coastline but it was very rocky to get down into the water! We walked to the village Chorio high up in the mountain where there is a pretty church and an amazing view of Symi. It was lovely to see mountain goats and see chickens along the rugged pathway. We wish we had stayed another day so we could have visited the Monastery.

Symi is a beautiful little island, with an abundance of shops and restaurants to browse and choose from. We stayed around the main harbour area and didn't feel the need to hire a car or take a bus anywhere. We were happy to relax on our balcony for the most part, read, drink coffee and people watch. We did venture to the walk to the small beach one day for a swim, which was lovely.

very nice island , requires good mobility
very nice island , requires good mobility
good restaurants , some with reasonable prices
Tasty local shrimps (Symi shrimps)
Avoid lamb chops, very hard and fat, as often in Greece
Stay away from O Harris restaurant : deplorable and unfriendly service, dishes not matching description, expensive
It is pretty cool to stay in an actual windmill, it opens up to a split level entrance, a few steps down and you are in nice little living/ dining room and a few more steps up and you are in the bedroom loft area. It is nicely decorated and has a wonderful view out over the harbor. You will be located up in the chora, which felt way less touristy than down in the waterfront area. Great more local feel to the restaurants up here. If you are looking for a unique and unconventional stay in one of the most beautiful Greek islands, stay here!
The location was incredible. It's in a quiet area on the harbor with a beautiful view. There's wonderful restaurants very close to the hotel, and there's a great breakfast buffet just a short distance down the road that we went to every morning. The room was spacious and had just about everything you could need. Our host, Athina, was wonderful and very accommodating. She greeted us at the ferry, inquired regularly if there was anything we needed for the room, brought us an occasional treat, and had great suggestions when we asked.
Irene's hospitality and tranquil location of her apartments reminded me of Greece of old. Each morning she came with a smile and baring gifts of coffee & snacks. This made us feel like guests rathan just another tourist. It was so refreshing to have a large spacious one bedroom apartment rather than a small stuffy studio, especially in the July heat. The views of Symi were spectacular and only a few meters walk to the water and a spot to jump in and cool off.
We had a wonderful stay in Symi. Fotini is the perfect host, she pampered us with treats, coffee and an early morning lift to the ferry. Her suite is a generous size and well appointed with a lovely balcony steps from the sea. It is at the quieter end of town which you will appreciate mid day as well as in the evenings. Two highly recommended restaurants are steps away as is the sea road to Nimborios. Perfect place to relax, we would love to come again.
Anna was a wonderful host. This was my first time going to Greece as a 25 year old girl. (My uncle and I made a vacation plan to see Greece.) She not only hosted me overseas, but she went with me to a few touristic places. She took me to a museum and to the Monastery of the Archangel Michael. She gave me a wonderful tour of the city. Of course, I was very thankful and felt like I belonged and a part of her family. Highly recommend!
The room was above the taverna which was busy at lunchtime but quiet in the evening (in August) so didn't disturb me. It was a very peaceful beautiful place to stay. Round the corner, there is also another little beach with crystal clear water and a beach bar. The room was simple - but the bed very comfortable. Reminded me of travelling in Greece before air bnb took over and you get to stay in a genuine greek family home.
It’s one of the best value for money accomodations we experienced in Greece. To mention some of its strengths - located in a scenic fishing village, close to the beach; recently and beautifully renovated; comfortable rooms and amenities, with CocoMat beds and Zealots cosmetics; friendly hosts - though this seems to be a general quality of the people in Symi. In short, a great place to relax and enjoy your holiday!
We enjoyed our stay in Symi and in this hotel. We had a room with balcony -we loved this! The room was simple with lovely island wibe:), very clean. Hotel is close to harbour, but first time hard to find, it was very good that hotel personal waited us in harbour and took us to the hotel. We rent a scooter from Jimmys Moto Rentals-spend a lovely day explorering the island.
The Odyssia restaurant and Hotel was by far one of the best places I have stayed/ate and drank at! The property owner and his daughter are genuine and kind. The room we had was spacious and had a big terrace overlooking Symi Port. Delicious food at the restaurant downstairs also!
Thank you for one of best holiday's ever.
Ben & Olga. :)
We were able to check in early and the staff was very friendly and service-minded. We really appreciated the lift to the port when we took the ferry. The location is outstanding, and the private garden offers extra safety for the children. The reception is open 24h and the hotel offers good solutions for big families and groups.
My stay was very enjoyable and I would recommend the Albatros Hotel to anyone requiring accomodation on Symi. The owner Nicholas couldn't do enough to make my stay comfortable even coming to make me an early breakfast on departure morning and carrying my suitcase to the ferry on his scooter.EXCELLENT !!
Very good hotel located at a beautifull place on the island. Nice and quiet and directly at the water. Taxi boats and bus stop nearby so you can easily visit other places around the island. The lovely and helpfull staff completed the whole positive experience. Would definitely recommend this place
Book this accommodation at your peril. Be very wary of the bogus reviews for this place. A lot of things stated in the room facilities not available.
Tried to blame booking.com for incorrect information. When we were offered another room we where told we could leave if we didn't like it.
Great location, got picked up from the boat & driven to hotel. Was given great information from owner about all the things you can do on the island & how. Very helpful at anytime. Very comfortable stay & had a later check out & driven to boat. A magic island & place to stay.
Maria was an amazing host. She couldn’t have been more helpful, she responded very quickly to any queries we had. It’s a great House in a fab location and central to everything in beautiful Symi. We’d love to come back again and would definitely recommend it. Thank you Maria
The room felt brand new. it was tastefully appointed and very charming. The staff was super helpful and met our ferry for transfer to the hotel and then delivered our bags to us at the port for our departure. I wish we had planned more nights in Symi.
The location was Excellent. We had a wonderful one night stay in this beautiful, charming Island. Our room was impeccable and the service was wonderful. We had an included breakfast out on the veranda that was perfect before we headed to the ferry.
This hotel is perfectly located in the bay of Symi island. It is an older building with lots of history, nice facilities, the only pier in town and the best coffee on the island. Staff was extremely polite and helpfull.
The location was fabulous, the property was spotless and our host was very generous and accommodating of our needs. Our visit to Symi has been one of the highlights of our trip to Greece.
