We had a great experience in this hotel. The whole structure is new because it opened on July 2022. For us the best aspect of the stay was the employees. Both the owner and the really nice and kind gentleman that works at the reception were the best aspect. They're really kind and worried about your stay. The breakfast is also great. There aren't that much options but you can see that everything was thought with kindness. On the day that we could not enjoy the breakfast because we were leaving, the gentleman of the reception made a lunch box for us to take away. It was really kind of him

The city is gorgeous and packed with good restaurants.
The city is gorgeous and packed with good restaurants. HOWEVER, there is absolutely not enough parking in its narrow cobble stone streets. I highly recommend either walking, or getting a scooter to go out for dinner.

Zakynthos is a very pretty Island. Laganas, however, is very touristy. The hotel we stayed at was very nice, but the neighborhood wasn’t particularly pretty. It’s perfect for people how enjoy nightlife though.

Zakynthos town is not very big .
Zakynthos town is not very big .
It has a fine esplanade to have a leisurely walk and admire the landscape the boats and the fine eateries along the waterfront .
Dionysiou Solomon’s Square is excellent with its large open spaces and cosmopolitan vibe. Further along Marks Square is the highlight of the town with the abundance of world- class bars ,cafes and restaurants. A stroll along here leads to the pedestrian only road of Alexandrou Roma which is vibrant and beautifully lined with interesting shopping stores and cafes.
One could stroll and see the town in a day however there are museums and places of interest one could take the time to explore longer.
Driving can be tricky around Zakynthos town as many streets are narrow.
There are car parking facilities however .We avoid driving in Zakynthos town ,we park on the outskirts and walk to our in-town destinations .
One of our favourite bars in Zakynthos town is the ‘Base’ where one can view the beauty and vibrancy of the town from a large upstairs balcony while sipping an amazing cocktail or brew .
Bochali , up high on the hill looks over Zakynthos town and is worth a visit to admire the views over Zakynthos town and also for its own interesting offerings .
All business matters can be easily accessed from town but then a visit to Zakynthos is not complete without branching off in any directions to marvel at the plefora of pristine beaches, beach cafes and green undulating countryside.
Zakynthos is an olive grove island and very ecologically minded as you will find when you seek out the local Caretta Caretta sea turtle and the dramatic cliffs , caves and resting place of the infamous Navagio shipwreck.
We love the island of Zakynthos and hope to return again and again .

It's a nice and lovely seaside town, with big squares and nice restaurants. There is a long pedestrian street with many shops and souvenirs. It has an excellent marina and the town is big enough for long evening walks.

I would definitely recommend staying In Zakinthos main part (town). We traveled a little around but lots happening here from being able to rent a boat for the day and tour the swimming coves only accessible by boat, see caves and turtles in the national park, to the massive long strip of shops with different varieties catering for all ages. Kids, teenagers and adults with cheap and very expensive stores alike. At night, the town comes alive with trendy bars, cafes and restaurants with live music in the square or Greek music at restaurants, it really is worth the stay. We only had 2 nights and regret not staying longer

Zakynthos is a fantastic island.
Zakynthos is a fantastic island. I stayed in Laganas to party during the night. But I visited the most beautifull beaches and places during the day. Snorkeling is amazing and I could easily spent weeks on the island to explore everything.
Just google the tips because there is a lot to see and there a blogs all over to tell you where to go and how to get there.
Excellent stay in Zakynthos. The villa is new, clean and modern, well equipped with everything you need. It's located 10min drive from the airport and 5min from Zakynthos town. We are able to access all amenities, nice restaurant, beautiful beaches with a quick drive.
The host welcomed us on arrival and hand over the key. He also prepared some welcome drink/food. All the communication was clear and prompt. Thank you so much for the accommodation.
Palatino hotel is one of the best in town, please refer to my older reviews. Great thing is that an effort has been made to refurbish some of the bathrooms and to keep the rooms in good state. What would be amazing going forward is gradually refurbishing the rooms as they start getting a bit old. The room was clean and proper, the service was amazing and the food including dinner was fantastic. Looking forward to visiting again!
Hotel's prime location in the heart of Zakynthos made it incredibly convenient to explore the town with easy access to the vibrant streets, local shops and restaurants.
The breakfast was a delightful surprise with plenty of options to choose from.
The staff at the Phoenix Hotel also deserves special mention, their friendly and professional service added to the overall positive experience of my stay.
I love this place. It’s the second time I’ve visited this August. The staff are just amazing, kind, helpful and always smiling. The family that run the hotel are what makes it. It’s clean, tidy and has some of the best views in Zante. Not to mention, the amazing beach right on the doorstep. Thank you, Maria for the amazing Pina Coladas and an amazing holiday.
The host was lovely and super helpful with how to use everything, and where to visit while in Zakynthos.
Also, the apartment was given fresh sheets and towels half-way through the stay, which was nice.
Also the location is perfect, really close to the bus station and a short walk from Zakynthos Town itself.
The location is one of the best neighbourhoods in town that is very easy to get around, not too touristy, quiet yet soo many restaurants, shops, supermarkets just a few blocks away. The studio is very convenient. Will definitely want to come back. Very clean everywhere with great amenities. Friendly host.
Well, everything was AWSOME. At first, I wanted a hotel room, but after I saw this appartment with all the facilities…wow it was perfect. The host, George, was very very careful and polite. He told us the perfect tour to visit the island, so it resulted in a PERFECT TRIP. Thank you, George!
The perfect spot to stay and explore the area of Zakynthos! Very well decorated with clean comfy rooms and the view from the balcony is great. It is close to various city centre options for breakfast restaurants and shopping. Great communication with owners too. Totally recommended!
The bed was incredibly comfortable! The location is amazing since exactly opposite the property it’s the beach and it's walking distance from central square, two of the best areas in Zakynthos. Apartment was clean and the host was very reliable, welcoming and polite.
Couldn’t have asked for more with this hotel! Amazing huge breakfast with lots of options, rooms were adorable and staff was so friendly and helpful! 2-3 minute walk from the main square and easy to find parking. Highly recommend!
It was our third stay here. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful a had some variation every day. The town centre is a short walk away-lots of places to eat and shopping galore.
This was the best place i stayed in Zakynthos. I stayed in more luxury places there but they were not as comfortable as this one. This house is very quiet. The owner is very friendly and helpful
Everything was perfect no complaints at all. Views are amazing and host were very friendly and they provided us with everything we needed to make our stay one of the best we had.
The place is gorgeous, great staff and super comfortable. It’s located around 20 min walk to the centre of Zakynthos town. The views from our room were just unreal!
The balcony view and parking for hotel customers. Close to the beachfront and many restaurants near the hotel. Room service is excellent. Good breakfast
