We were welcomed by the Owner of the Property who went out of her way to accommodate us. We were given a welcome Drink upon arrival and a full tour of the beautifully restored old building. She explained all the history and surrounding area. Breakfast was great with fresh homemade Cakes, Jams and Local Bread. One of us was Coeliac and they brought in specific products and even made them their own Cake. Private and safe Parking was available on site.

Good location, free parking and very good restaurant is near by - ideal if you arrive in late hours, near Lombard castle but it was closed due to reconstruction. Feels modern and comfy. Building door and shower are little smaller. Clean sheets, clean room, cereals for breakfast (in our case) + some sweets.

Enna was a quaint old town, in fact one of the oldest towns in the central area of Sicily. It is well served with roads, safe walkways and plenty of restaurants, bars and eating places...maybe its the time we visited in May but it lacked the outdoor tables and chairs and open air dining we all love. Having said all that its imposing Castello and Churches offer a snippet of life in days gone by, a truly authentic Sicilian experience for us which is what we like. Sitting in one of its main squares looking out at a centuries old theatre was a joy while sipping our Cappuccino and savoring their Croissants with cream :) The people are nice and helpful too even if you don't speak Italian.

Enna is a substantial hilltop town with an exceptionally interesting history. It is readily accessible from the A19 and makes a good place to stay in central Sicily. There are marvelous views of the surrounding countryside and of other hilltop towns nearby.

Enna is extremely historic, with much to offer to the visitor - cathedral & churches with their art & architecture, historic castle and Frederic II tower. There is a beautiful Belvedere offering views across Sicily too.

Fabulous - in the middle of Sicily in the mountains - an entirely different experience, much more authentic, not overridden with tourists and with friendly locals. You can see all the main highlights in a day, but would recommend longer just to wander, enjoy the views and have some downtime. Use the buses to get from Enna Bassa to Enna Alta.

Enna is one of the highest cities in Sicily.
Enna is one of the highest cities in Sicily.
There are stunning panoramic views of the surroundings from the old city.
The town has many attractions, ancient streets, the atmosphere of the old city.
Castello di Lombardy, Duomo, Chiesa di San Francesco D’Assisi, Torre di Federico II
It is best to come to Enna in spring or autumn, it is very hot in summer.
Half an hour drive, the unique ancient Roman mosaics in Villa Romana del Casale, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Amazing place.......everything comfortable and spotlessly clean......location perfect.
The couple that ran the place were kind and friendly.......didn`t speak English but that was not a problem as it was good fun having conversations with smartphone/Google translate.
Originally, we had planned on having a 2 centre holiday but public transport was a bit limited so we just spent 2 weeks here in Enna chilling and eating lots of Pizza :) :)
Very sad to leave - If we return to Enna, we know where to stay!
The location is ideal for a stay in Enna, it is easy to walk around the city and there are nice places (natural and historical), good restaurants and shops around. This is the uper part of the city, it takes a while to join the train station, but it is possible with a bus or with a taxi (20 minutes). Renting a car is compulsory to travel in the region.
The apartment is clean and, with good equipments (washing machine, kitchen).
The owner is sympathetic, with good advices to discover the region.
The stay was extremely pleasant. The room was bigger than expected, and the infrastructure was very neat and new. The hotel is very well located, just a few minutes walk from Enna Bassa bus station (where the majority of city and regional buses stop). It is a great place to visit the nearby Villa Romana del Casale and Enna alta. Above all, Giuseppe, the host, was extremely kind and generous.
The location on one of Enna’s squares was very good as this meant that we always found a parking space nearby (in late April). The flat has been carefully styled and is very original in design. The suggestions for restaurants were very good and enabled us to enter into the particular character of Enna
The property was nestled in a little downtown street, atmospheric & central. The rooms were clean, pleasant, attractive, comfortable, and everything worked. But the best was our host, Fabrizio, who was delightful and went out of his way to help us on several occasions. We loved our stay in Enna!
A unique place, suites with charachter and a wonderful host. The location is central, walking distance from the Castle and many restaurants and shopping streets. The breakfast is delicious, home made food with local ingredients from Enna and Sicily. A beautiful place to absolutely visit!
We stayed here for only 1 night during our road trip of Sicily. Property is ideal for someone travelling with its own car. It is right in the center of Sicily on the outskirts of Enna, in quite surroundings. Very clean, spacious comfortable room and good b'fast too.
We had an excellent stay. The hosts were very welcoming and provided us with many suggestions, helpful tips and even welcome drinks! They offered us a free room upgrade. There was a very good breakfast with local foods and private parking in front of the hotel.
Very helpful in communicating via WhatsApp. Provided us a brief history of Enna with volunteering to answer questions on what to do. Was very accommodating in providing an earlier breakfast to meet our business needs.
The facility is located at 150 meters from the obelisk (geographic center of Sicily) and 200 m from the Octagonal tower of Federico II.
It is a clean, quiet location, you can also find parking places near-by.
Domus Enna was a first rate Bed and Breakfast. The hosts were beyond welcoming and helpful and the room was well appointed and comfortable. The breakfast was magnificent and the location was beautiful.
Everything. The hosts were super nice, kind and helpful. The room had all we wished for plus a perfect view. Thank you for all and if we come back to Enna we would definitely pick Doctor House again. :)
A short car drive to the sites in Enna but nicely tucked away from the busy city. Quite location with a beautiful view day or night. Giuseppe was extremely helpful with anything we needed.
The most amazing place we stayed in during our trip around Sicily. The owner was really helpful and the rooms are just georgious! Followed up by amazing breakfast… 10/10 :) Thank you!
Everything. Beautifully remodeled apartment. They thought of everything. Just great place. Great location. Secure parking. One of the best places in Sicily.
