The Hotel is perfectly placed right by the sea.
We had a kingsize room with sea view which was very clean.
The owners have a Gelateria downstairs so very conveniently we could enjoy delicious Italian breakfast outside whilst overlooking the sea. The owners were very helpful also with suggestions for restaurants and visiting Scilla, especially that there is an escalator and an elevator nearby the hotel which makes it easy to reach the upper very interesting part of Scilla .

The views across Scilla as well as the sea views and bay views are all very beautiful. Scilla is on a hillside so expect lots of paths and steps as you explore Scilla. The lift near Bar Roxy on the beach takes you right up to the piazza and a cappuccino, or a pizza from Pizza Scilla. There are places to eat along the beach and in Scilla.
Do try the local swordfish panini! Delicious.

Lovely personal BnB right on the water edge.
Lovely personal BnB right on the water edge. Large balcony over the sea with a wonderful view of the sea and Scilla. The main beach is wonderful for swimming in the clear turquoise water. It is a small relaxed town.

Close proximity to Train Station, walking distance to the Beach, Local Cafes and Restaurants along the waterfront and across from the main beach.
Walking distance to the Old town Centre either take a lift up or walk up the stairs for some paronamic views you won't be disappointed.
It is only a small coastal town with a few restaurants and Cafes to choose from

The view was spectacular.
The view was spectacular.
There was direct access to the rocks at the waterfront but no way to get in or out of the water safely. The property is advertised as The entire holiday home’ but this is false. The property has at least three apartments. We had to walk past our neighbour’s glass patio doors to access our apartment and the narrow balcony was shared.

I loved Scilla as the pace was so relaxed and a chilled vibe… I really liked where I stayed to watch the sunsets and the locals chatting in the square
Chianalea which is in walking distance is a must visit for beautiful streets and alleyways and gorgeous restaurants…
In my personal opinion no need for a car as youcan walk everywhere and there’s a train station with very regular services

The town is one of the biggest discoveries I had in years - it is probably top3 the most incredible places in Italy (at least those I have seen). It's a perfect place for a romantic trip, it offers great restaurants and great accommodation for decent prices. The views are just fantastic - it exceeded my expectations!
Amazing location. 2 minutes from the train station and 2 minutes from the beach. 😊Comfortable, spotlessly clean en-suite room, property throughout was meticulously clean and very welcoming. The host, Paolo texted me to enquire as to the time of my arrival and I was able to check-in immediately after arriving in Scilla. I particularly liked that it was a personal check-in and not a self-check-in system. The breakfast was a lovely mix of Italian and Continental including fresh fruit and yoghurts.
In mid-Oct, we had the whole hotel to ourselves, so it was great (although the pool had been closed). We had a Junior suite/balcony, perched up the hill outside of Scilla with brilliant sunset views of Messina, and of Scilla town in the other direction. Just excellent to sit on the balcony and have a drink at the end of the day! Breakfast was very good. Free parking. The room was very nicely sized, with modern amenities. Staff were very helpful and welcoming.
We liked everything about this hotel. The owners are so kind and thoughtful. Tina picked us up from the station which was a lovely surprise. The breakfast was superb with fresh fruit, cheeses, hams, yoghurts and lots of other goodies. The views are superb from the sea view rooms. You can tell a lot of love has gone into making the place homely and comfortable.
We loved the history of the old stone house, the location right on the sea is something very special but the truth is the owner Fortunata was the shining star of our stay. She is a beautiful soul who care’s deeply about her home and guests. Our time here will always be a cherished memory.
The host was very friendly, flexible and helpful. The apartment was very central, clean, modern and everything was in an as-new condition. There was also nothing missing in the apartment, the equipment is really great. Overall, we felt very comfortable and enjoyed our few days in Scilla.
Renovated and nice rooms, everything at this place and is nicely decorated, very nice and helpful host, perfect location in Scilla. Α shared kitchen where we had a typical Italian breakfast. We had our own car but the owner picked as up and guided us to the apartment.
Scilla is a fantastic place to visit and stay for a few days.. but if you do it staying in this house it will be just magical..
The house is fully equipped and the view from the two bedrooms is fabulous
Silvana is a warm and super attentive host.. you will love it !
Authentic Hotel building which fits the location.
Staff were easy to deal with, friendly and helpful. We loved the amazing beach just meters down the road. An amazing little town. We highly recommend this hotel and location.
Very happy with the 1pm check in time.
Location in the middle of Scilla is beautiful and convenient for restaurants, walking around town, castle and to the beach.
There's a big kitchen if someone want to use.
Nice terrace (in my room).
Helpful and nice host.
Good breakfast served in cafeteria nerby.
This BnB was fantastic for two people. It was updated, clean, and had an AMAZING view. Antony was a great host who made sure the stay was comfortable and informed us of restaurants and things to do in Scilla. I highly recommend a stay in one of the rooms here!
Ferruccio is a wonderful host who made me feel immediately welcome upon my arrival. Simple but comfortable room in a good location close to the beach and train station. Try Ferruccio’s restaurant, Caluna whilst in Scilla for a great meal on the water!
I only have good things to say about this place.
It's very well located and is nicely sized.
The host was really kind and I loved the breakfast voucher to the bar with the view on Scilla.
It is very quiet, air conditioned. Super happy.
The hosts were wonderful and kind people. We had a gorgeous view and got to experience the heart of Chianalea, the beautiful fishing district of Scilla. The B&B had two terraces and a kitchen. We loved every second of our stay.
it’s our second time at La Finlanda and we would gladly come back again. Paolo is an incredible host who helped us in everything we needed.
The room service is like a five star hotel.
Couldn’t recommend it more!!
We loved this hotel! Friendly, gorgeous rooms, fabulous views, beautiful restaurant - delicious, and home-baked breakfast you won’t believe, right on the water and in the middle of cute town with sparkling sea.
