The nature around this village is so beautiful, i felt like in paradise. The staff is very friendly and i felt so welcome. I could ask everything and they helped me. I extended my days and at the end they even gave me a gift. Thank you so much for that! You can do some hikes and there is a beautiful spot at the river where you can swim and enjoy the beauty of the jungle. The colors are stunning!

Staying at Melina was an incredible experience! Situated in a fantastic location, it's the perfect destination to unwind from the stresses of everyday life. Patrick, the enthusiastic host, provided us with a comprehensive overview of the area and suggested various activities to enjoy. The attentive staff, Rose and Jay, were always ready to cater to our needs with a warm smile, making our stay truly memorable. The cuisine at the resort, overseen by Chef Hakim, was exceptional, and he happily accommodated special requests. I highly recommend renting a boat from the resort and embarking on a snorkeling tour around the island. Overall, it was a fabulous experience, and I'm already looking forward to planning my next trip here soon!

We absolutely loved our vacation at Beach Shack!
We stayed there for 9 nights and we would have stayed a lot longer!
We initally booked the A-Frame, but then changed to the chalet directly on the beach because it was bigger and the view was insaaaane an definitely worth the extra money.
Best about Beach Shack is their staff – they were always so nice and friendly and helped us with taxi service, hiking tour etc.
Also, make sure to go diving at Scuba Dive Academy which is located within the Beach Shack Area. My friend and I did the Open Water Diver Course and we can recommend it 100%!

I really like the ocean view from this hotel. Near that there quite comfortable chairs and hammock to seat with a coffee and keep stunning this view.

Beautiful spot on the beach, hut just in front of the diving center (perfect for me), big room, surprisingly good shower (cold, did not need so did not try hot water). Bed was comfortable, fan pointing to bed so sleeping is manageable in the heat.
Breakfast is simple, but nice. You can also have lunch and dinner there, which was always good and not expensive.
Location is nice, I'm happy I stayed in the relatively quiet Juara. :)

Wonderful place to stay and Juara beach is paradise 😍. I felt at home here. The staff is great, Etty is such a sweet and kind person. The chalet room has what you need. I stayed in the one with garden view but I even had sea view. The dorm is nice, it has airco and a terrace with a beautiful view and the sheets are so cozy and soft. I slept really well.
I have done a good diving course at the scuba dive center at 2 sec around the corner - easy..
