A stalwart in Christchurch accommodation, which has been thoughtfully refurbished. The reception still looks pretty plain, but the room I was in on the 4th floor was tastefully decorated, modern and super comfortable. The bathroom and shower were very nice, a nice touch was an automatic motion detection light for a late night toilet visit.
The staff were accommodating and even cleared the next night in the event I needed to extend my stay, which I did.

We were so tired from schedule changes and stress getting from Europe to NZ... via Fiji. Sudima was like a safe haven.... The pickup from airport with shuttle, the ease, the calmness of the driver and then the staff getting us a ground floor room and we just crashed and then in the morning an easy ride back to the airport to get to our destination in NZ... it was perfect. I love Sudima...
