The hosts were truly accommodating. I had a bike with me and they allowed me to park it right outside the front door. The place has a gate so it felt very secure and the staff are always watching guard. When I arrived, they gave me an upgrade upon learning that I'm a solo female traveler. I got bumped up to a bigger room! So generous. The beds were very comfy and the AC works well. They had reliable internet. I was able to work though I didn't have any video calls that day. It felt like a real homestay, I got to chat with the family that owns the place which was pleasant. They were welcoming without being too intrusive so if you're not the chatty type, don't worry. The morning before leaving for Kalanggaman Island, they served a hearty breakfast with tocino, danggit, fried rice, eggs, bread, and a slice of fruit. I left full and happy. Palompon is a pretty small town so everything is just a 15-minute walk. There's an ATM by the Tourism Office. Nearby, there's a food park with Filipino food. Jollibee and Goldilocks are also within walking distance.

For me it was a perfect oasis in the middle of a busy trip, we spent 3 nights and it was very peaceful and relaxing. It was a simple place but very clean, friendly staff, delicious food and right on the beach which. It was also very good value.

Had to order breakfast 4 times. Got disturbed late at night to take the order again. Woken early in the morning to be told some things weren’t available so had to reorder again. When “breakfast finally came it was 1 fried egg and two slices of toast which was half an hour late. They really need to work on this. One item that wasn’t available was hotdog and just outside the front door was a huge market
