Staying in Masseria was a great experience that I hope we can repeat in the near future. It was an absolute pleasure to commune with the nature of Puglia, the animals that graze freely on the grounds and you can see that they are happy, the other friendly guests and, above all, the wonderful hosts. The view from the room overlooking the pool and the stretching fields of trees was breathtaking every day. The pool is always a wonderful amenity, and here, in addition, there was also an indoor, heated pool, which was a nice aspect at the end of the day when the temperature outside dipped. Masseria exceeded my expectations, that's for sure.

This is an extraordinary residence located in the middle of an olive farm, you will definitely need a car to get there. The closest beautiful sand beach (Coco Bay) is about a 15min drive away. The building is more than a hundred years old and in very good condition. The walls are thick and the ceilings high. The rooms are well renovated and equipped with mostly comfortable furniture. Bathroom and kitchen are state of the art. There's also 3 outdoor showers for everyone's use if you prefer that. The owner is very kind and helpful with everything. He doesn't mind if you stroll through the olive groves, lemon trees or elsewhere on the property. There's a lazy little dog lying in the yard all day. It's a very peaceful place overall with next to no unpleasant noises anywhere close by. Of course you can also buy the locally produced olive oil at a very good price.

We loved the restaurant they had in their garden: a set menu but great food, great atmosphere and kind people. Big and clean pool, amazing view on the lake. Room was modern. Location is good; short drive to Poetry Cave (north) and Otranto (south).
