Situated within 32 km of Mirandela Medieval Bridge in Alfândega da Fé, Casas da Serra - Soeima Housing features accommodation with seating area. The property has mountain views. We were on our way from Northern Portugal to Madrid Spain, and found this place on the way. So that was a considered as a place for an overnight only. The owner was very welcoming, need to use google translate, as Portuguese is the only language... She also runs a small cafe shop, just across the street. There is a large swimming pool - it was too cold for us, but if you arrive in hot days, it looks great.

The facilities are beautiful and apartment was also lovely. Clean, decorated with style and everything you need (e.g. like a good working oven to cook meals)

Offering an infinity pool and river view, Quinta de São Luiz The Vine House is set in Tabuaço, 19 km from Douro Museum and 30 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary. São Luiz The Vine House has modern rooms with comfy king bed and beautiful bathroom area. The best is the big terrace (table and chairs) in front of the river with amazing views. Plentiful breakfast buffet and fast wifi. It was great that rooms, restaurant and office were located in one floor, no steps. We parked in front. Centrally located on N222, the hotel has easy access to explore Rio Douro Valley. It is better to rent a car. Roads are in very good condition. We had delicious lunch in Castas e Pratos and DOC in front of the river. We recommend to visit small Quinta do Tedo for a personal wine tasting. We saved one day for a private 2-hour boat trip down the rive with Magnifico Douro in Pinhao. Instead of a uncomfortable group rabelo boat trip, we rented their Viosinho boat. This trip was well worth it. We enjoyed our 2-night stay in São Luiz The Vine House. Our trip to Rio Douro Valley was perfect. Nov 2023

Situated in Tarouquela in the Norte Region region, ALDEIA DA MARGARIDA features a balcony. This country house has a rooftop pool, a garden and free private parking. We had the best stay for 3 nights, could not have been more welcomed and the staff were very friendly and happy to help. Organised trips for us to enjoy the best of the Duoro Valley and always on hand if needed. The pool area is beautiful and amazing to relax in and the rooms are spacious with a balcony with stunning views. Food was delicious. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the Duoro Valley

Situated in Peso da Régua, 4.2 km from Douro Museum and 10 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary, Quinta do Valdalágea features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a garden and a shared... The property was amazing. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were awesome. We had a private wine tasting accompanied by good conversation. Breakfast was outstanding.

Quinta da Pousada Casa de Campo, a property with free bikes and a garden, is set in Santa Marta de Penaguião, 26 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary, 28 km from Natur Waterpark, as well as 19 km... The room was very nice; sparkling clean, spacious and it had a little private balcony. The continental breakfast was delicious with a combination of fresh aliments. Highly recommend getting the dinner menu at the restaurant; great food, amazing wine and excellent service. Happy we decided to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday in this place. It was a lovely experience; Carlos and the Staff were extraordinary and helped with all the arrangements. Couldn’t have wished for better!

Featuring garden views, Canastro Country House features accommodation with free bikes and a patio, around 37 km from Santa Maria da Feira Castle. We were very well welcomed to the property by the owner and had some homemade products waiting for us. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. Totally recommend this place to stay.

Casa de Campo das Sécias is located in Vilas Boas, which a part of popular Vila Flor. Host very helpful in allowing me to use her printer to print boarding passes. Breakfast was not just the standard continental bread and coffee, but included fruit, cereals, range of breads and toast and condiments and cheeses, fruit juice and tea/coffee. Room was large. Area is very quiet.
