Joana is very friendly and helpful hostess. The family room is big, new refurbished and with very comfortable beds. The breakfast is wonderful. Lots of frindely animals around: Tobias, one of kind small horse that likes to bite our cloth or push us to walk fast (if you are in front of him), goats, dogs and chickens. My family loves the place.

Located within 600 metres of Manteigas Hot Springs, SerraVale in Manteigas offers a garden, as well as free WiFi. Among the various facilities of the rustic property are a shared lounge and a bar. The room was beautifully appointed, spacious and everything was very clean. Breakfasts were excellent and greatly exceeded my expectations. Our host Else, was very warm and kind with suggestions of sights and itineraries that we might like to see. She was very attentive to make sure we knew where walking paths started and described the route, phoned to make reservations for dinner etc - couldn't have been kinder!
