The two ladies in charge of breakfast and the poolside bar went over and beyond fantastic service. Reception was friendly and welcoming, I was allowed to take two of these fantastic organically grown lemons home this morning. Room was spacious, air on worked well, shower was powerful. A little more privacy with the bathroom facilities would have been nice. The washing basin was next to the bed and the toilet only had a glass door with a gap. The bath tub was on a decking I’m the bedroom which was a nuce gadget, even though we did not use it. The pool area is nice, enough sunbeds and umbrellas, clean enough, quiet and lovely views in a lovely garden. Parking is available safely on site. Old town is in walking distance (15-20 min), but shuttle is offered by hotel. All in all, highly recommendable.

Everything was great. You can take long walks in all directions with incredible water views and visit quaint streets and houses.
Hiking up La Rocco is a must for the views but is difficult. Allow time for rest and wear sturdy footwear. I joked it was only fit for goats- then we saw goats.😊
Many restaurants there with good food.
Friendly people throughout this Medieval Beach town.
We enjoyed the beach. It is large and lots of room to walk and was not crowded.
Convenient and economical train transportation in and out of Cefalu so a car is not needed.

Cefalu is a very nice town.
Cefalu is a very nice town. We were visiting during spring time and it was not too crowded, this will probably be different during summer creating a different vibe then. Spending 2 or 3 days in Cefalu was enough for us. The town is situated in a special place, tucked away between the rocky mountain and sea. There are enough restaurants with medium to high quality cooking always for a reasonable price comparison.

It’s a wonderful town on the sea beside a massive rock stack - La Rocca Ecopark. Beautiful buildings in the historic old town centre. Great beach for swimming.
There’s a lot to explore and see. The food options are delicious; and at the end of April the whole place was buzzing with people enjoying themselves. Our stay coincided with Liberation Day.

The Old Town is stunning and the service in cafes and restaurants was very good. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. We visited sites from Cinema Paradiso and the lady showing us the cinema was welcoming and informative. The Catherdral and the square it sits in are beautiful and lovely to see the Arab - Norman buildings. Beachfront buildings are beautiful.
Even though it was out of season it was busy so maybe summer it would be too crowded but understandable as so pretty.
Vegetarian food on offer less inventive that in other towns in Sicily but the sights of the Old Town make up for any minor disappointments.

An absolutely charming town, the resort was relaxing, the employees all so nice… Cefalu had incredible beauty and if you are there at easter, the procession to the dome at night was touching. Beautiful plaza in front of the dome. Everything you can imagine in a small sicilian town.

Cefalu is a beautiful place in Sicily.
Cefalu is a beautiful place in Sicily. There is abounding natural beauty and many interesting little streets to wander, dotted with shops and restaurants.
Our accomodation was over-priced for the offering.
I spent a month in Italy and I can say without a doubt that this my favourite accommodation. The location is ideal, the room is spacious, the bathroom is squeaky clean and the kitchen is extremely well equipped. I particularly appreciated having lunch on the beautiful balcony while listening to the neighbour’s birds chirping. Communication with Rosalba was clear and easy and gave me all the peace of mind to enjoy beautiful Cefalù.
Beautifully stylish and relaxing hotel up in the hills with a gorgeous pool and gardens/terraces and fantastic staff. Walkable down into Cefalu (10 mins) and just about walkable back at night (up hill, hard in the heat). But during the day when it's hot you can just summon their TukTuk to come and pick you up. A great service. This is the best hotel we stayed in across our holiday in Sicily. Highly recommended.
Spacious accomodation that would be ample for a family and children (we travelled as a couple). Comfy memory foam mattress, and pin drop silence at night- managed a solid 8 hours sleep every night!
The view from the balcony is beautiful.
Don't let the other reviews be a factor in your decision making - there's much more challenging roads in Sicily especially in the East and South of the island.
The resort was incredible. Super family friendly, full of activities for kids, and the beach was our favorite in all of Sicily.
The restaurants were very good - my favorite was the sushi restaurant which was innovative and super yummy - but make sure to book them in advance because the day we got there there was nothing available other than the buffet (which is what you get if you book all inclusive).
Sicily accommodation is expensive in general, and this hotel is no different. I have been to nicer 4 star hotels for cheaper in Europe, but this hotel ticked most of the boxes. Both the location of the hotel and the 'private' beach for hotel guests were amazing! Our room & bathroom were nice (4 star appropriate). The reception staff were very friendly & helpful. Basement parking is provided.
Simply Amazing! The room felt like a luxury condo, everything has been renovated and is extremely luxurious. Our view of the ocean was spectacular. Chelsea was extremely helpful and offered a nice breakfast. The location was perfect, you can’t really ask for more. I highly recommend !!! You won’t regret it, definitely one of the best place to stay in Cefalu
Hosts were terrific. Arrangements had been made for breakfast next door which was surreal! We ate out on a balconey overlooking the Med and the food was terrific not to mention our waiters who were awesome. Our hotel room was really big with a huge bathroom, windows overlooking the Med. Location was perfect in old town Cefalu.
Cefalú is a WONDERFULL AND MAGIC place!! And this hotel is a perfect mix between a safe and modern building with a good view in first line, and next to the old town and city center. A perfect location for walking relax and thinking in how beautiful and peacefully is this place :)
The swimming pool was so lovely and a welcome bonus after a long hot drive. Great views and hotel service on a very reasonable budget. Free parking on site which is rare for Italy so this would be a great place to explore Cefalu and it’s surrounds if you were travelling by car.
Breakfast was fabulous - so much choice and all very fresh. A lovely family feel and so friendly. We loved it!! From what I could gather it is one of the few hotels with a private pool and this really added to our stay. Also, it's literally across the road from a great beach
Hotel Kalura is absolutely beautiful! Be prepared to do steps if you are staying with an Oceanview room. Our room was literally carved into the side of the cliff and just steps from the ocean/beach below. The bathroom was a nice size and the bed was very comfortable.
Lovely boutique apartment, with a fantastic courtyard garden and a mini spa which is a great facility and such a nice luxury. The apartment is in a great location, literally a short walk from the beach and all the bars and restaurants. Highly recommend a stay here.
The hotel is a gem in the area of Cefalu', a wonderful town of Sicily on the sea. The staff is fantastic and the restaurants are of great quality. Calaluna, gourmet restaurant, led by talentous Chef Dario Pandolfo was the best culinary experience of our stay.
Room was very clean, and staff was very helpful. We were there celebrating my fiancées birthday. Breakfast good (if compared in other options in Italy). Also parking in hotel was nice.
The room are perfect with new bathrooms which is rare for Sicily. All The staff are very helpfull and welcoming. Parking is very good and safe in the grounds of the Hotel.
Stunning property, amazing staff. Luxury all around. Some rooms are a bit small but we didn't spend too much time in them as there was so much to offer at the hotel.
The location is perfect…right on the beach with free access to beach chairs…short walk into historic beautiful Cefalu…close to restaurants. The staff is terrific!
