The setting is really quirky and it was so nice to be able to walk around a working farm - definitely a first for us! The bedroom and bathroom was on the small side but had absolutely everything we needed. As for the breakfast - it was fantastic. Freshly made with fresh eggs from the farm - plus freshly made bread - what more could you ask for?

Judging by the adjacent camping facility, it is obviously popular with ramblers and hikers, and I would have loved to have walked a few miles. It is located in a beautiful quiet corner of the country, in an old farmhouse. Our room was well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast was more than adequate. The property is located in an extremely quiet, rural hill farm. Breakfast was excellent, made with what looked like home grown or locally scoured ingredients.

It was good to have two ensuites and the main bathroom was modern. Also the house retained a lot of its farmhouse character which for us was a big plus factor. This was perfect and very helpful. The location is a bit off the beaten track but not far from Corbridge or Hexham and beautiful countryside and the farm is in a rural very scenic setting. Breakfast was excellent, full English but loved the fruit with yogurt as well and the delicious homemade brown bread. Also good parking. Attractive clean room and en suite with walk in shower and large comfortable bed.
