This place has the most idyllic location among the vines and olive trees that are so emblematic of the region. There is everything you need, a pool to cool down, a nice terrace to enjoy a relaxing breakfast, a clean bathroom, and comfortable beds. But the absolute highlight of this place, what makes it worth the detour, is its hosts. Alessandra and her husband are probably the nicest and warmest people I have ever met. Their hospitality never ceased from the moment we arrived until the minute we left. They are extremely flexible and provide extraordinary service. I have in many more "luxurious" places, but a genuine experience like this is x1000 more worth my while!

A truly wonderful place to stay. It is a wonderful location amongst the vineyards and so peaceful with incredible views. The staff are exceptional. We also did a tour of the winery which was fabulous. The owner Francesco was warm and friendly and the food was excellent. Their own Chianti Classico is served and we were so impressed we bought 3 cases and shipped them back to the UK. We will certainly go there again.

Breakfast is great and the private wine tour and tasting with the owner was a really nice experience. The staff are friendly and try to help where possible. The pool and grounds are maintained beautifully. A perfect spot for exploring the surrounding Chianti towns and countryside.

The rooms are rustic but lovely and the location is close to stunning towns and villages like Siena, Castellina, Radda, Panzano, Grieve, Volpaia and Castagnoli. Breakfast is varied and plentiful and we had dinner one night in the restaurant which was delicious. All in all a great place to stay to explore the region.

The hotel is rustic and incredibly charming, it was very nice for a change to stay at a hotel with few guests which allowed the personnel to attend to your every need. The personnel were very sweet and helpful. The wines we tasted where all incredibly good, the favorite was definitely the 50/50.
