Elissa and her father were very welcoming. Elissa gave us some good ideas for places to visit and pointed us to a shuttle bus into Sienna ( 15 minutes away.) The apartment was very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, large lounge and bedroom, tastefully furnished. The setting in the countryside amongst the family’s beautiful homes was quiet, stunning and beautifully kept with a private outside eating area and attractive plants. We loved the swimming pool with its views of Sienna in the distance and the gorgeous local countryside. Elissa had clearly gone to some trouble to find the kind of pillow which I had requested which gave me a very comfortable night’s sleep.

Perfect location near Sienna for us to explore the Tuscan hills. The apartment was fully furnished, so clean and very quaint. The views were amazing, the grounds open for us to explore. I can’t think of how this stay could have been improved on. The host left us biscottes, jams, coffee, tea, milk and juice as our breakfast. We cooked for ourselves with supplies we picked up from the local supermarket.

We even got home baked cakes and cookies each day, she helped us with reservation of a restaurant the day we arrived and provided us with all relevant information about possible travel trips in Tuscana region as well as recommneded parking spots in Siena. Everything. Wonderful yard, full of flowers, lemons, herbs, an olive grove and super outdoor jacuzzi! The house has three bedrooms and three bathrooms and everything is very clean. The kitchen is very well equipped, you can cook anything you want :-) Fabio and his mother are absolutely wonderful hosts! Welcoming, they helped us with a lot of information and made us feel very good! Choose this place, Pontignanello is perfectly located so you can go from here to all the attractions of Tuscany.
