This was best experience ever, modern elegant house with the finest artistic touches. The best hosts one could dream of. Hospitality at it’s best. Fabulous breakfast, and the welcome Porto tonic ever. Too bad I can’t rate it above a 10, it is of the charts. A must stay in the Douro, better than staying in Pinhao. This is really what the heart of the Douro is.

The location is beautiful. The bed was comfortable. The hosts were wonderful. The entire property is just amazing. Breakfast was perfect. We would like to come back and spend more time. The price is fair. We were sorry we couldn't speak Portuguese in order to communicate more with our hosts. It would have been great to chat. Be aware, you must have a car in order to get around here.

This place was absolutely wonderful. Clean, comfortable and lovely. The room was nice, the view was nice, the house and the garden look so great. But nothing impressed me more than the owners. I've been traveling for 2 months now, each night in a different place, and I can say without a doubt that they were the nicest hosts I've encountered so far. Thoughtful, very understanding with some problems I had, so nice and welcoming. They even thought about my breakfast, and because they did not offer breakfast at their place, they recommended me somewhere close where I can go (without me asking). I was very impressed by their niceness. Also, free and safe parking in the private yard.
