The location, between the vinyards and the plants they have there. There is alot of space outside of the room for the kids to play and swim. Very nice pool. The staff are very nice. The breakfast is good, not alot of variety but good.

Terrific location in the middle of all the places we were visiting - Obidos, Peniche, Caldas. Private, quiet in the midst of nature with oversight of the apple and pear orchards - bordered by the pine trees for which the area is well known. Common living room and kitchen were an added bonus. Very tastefully decorated as though we stepped into an earlier age.

La Quinta es extraordinaria ( piscina enorme, pequeño campo de fútbol y de baloncesto, mesa de ping-pong, patos y gallinas, grandes salones en el interior...) Además, del buen desayuno en el jardín exterior, tienes acceso libre al uso de la cocina, asi como a fruta, café, infusiones, bizcochos, etc, a lo largo del día. Tanto Daniel, como Mauricio y María siempre están dispuestos a ayudarte con una sonrisa. Excelente lugar.

I have traveled extensively with my family (husband and three young adult children) and this magical place is by far our favorite. When the gates to the property open it’s like being transported into an enchanting farmhouse oasis like you would see in a movie. Lush flowers and trees everywhere, cobblestone driveway, meticulously maintained grounds, storybook farmhouse, an infinity pool like a luxury spa hotel overlooking the amazing views of the valley and to top it off, hidden little areas for the ducks, sheep and chickens. The apartments are tastefully decorated and cosy and have every thing you could possibly need for cooking, even the sweet touch of a welcome treat and drink to make you feel special. The breakfast brought to our patio every morning was delicious (good coffee and warm bread!). Definitely make sure to enjoy a glass of wine at sunset, the views and property are worth savoring each day. Even though it is a bit in the country, it was only 15 minutes to Óbidos, less than 30 to Nazaré or Alcobaça and less than an hour to Lisbon. Completely worth the picturesque drive to feel transported to a peaceful and beautiful paradise that feels like the authentic Portuguese experience you would wish to have on your vacation. Most special are the owners who go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and are just genuinely kind and welcoming people. This place is a dreamy treasure you will never forget, we hope to have the pleasure of coming back!

The property is surrounded by lush vegetation, it's the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. Our room and bathroom were spacious, nicely furnished and decorated. Sofia is a great host, always present and helpful but at the same time very discreet. She offers an excellent and copious breakfast.

I recently spent 2 nights at Quinta da Foz and cannot speak highly enough about Francisco and his staff. It is a very unique and beautiful place. The grounds are a very peaceful place to spend some time and maybe you'll be lucky enough to meet some of the animals. The living area and bedroom are beautifully furnished. The breakfast is very nice and plentiful. What is clear is how much Francisco loves this place and enjoys sharing it with others. Thank you for this. Fatima and Martha enjoy working there as well. All three of them were warm, kind, caring and supportive to me in a tricky situation for me. I will always remember them for this and hope to return there some day. Thank you so much for a lovely stay at Quinta da Foz, an experience like no other I have had.

Location was excellent! Owner was super friendly even though we arrived quite late. They showed us great hospitality and kindness. The breakfast was included and it was amazing! They make alot of it themselves. The service was superb and the accommodation felt very safe because it was surrounded by a wall. Parking is included. They have a small pool and a jacuzzi. Overall a very clean and comfortable stay and would book again if we're in the area.
