We had a most pleasurable stay at Villa Auri over a weekend. This is a small and cosy place, very quiet and serene, with breathtaking views over the Douro valley. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with lovely smelling toiletries. The hosts are most welcoming; we had a delicious breakfast and a copious lunch at the property, and tried local wines and olive oils, taking some bottles back home. Definitely returning here one day for a longer stay!
