Ruby's Cottage Farm Stay ligger i Port Arthur, 4,2 km från Port Arthur och 6,4 km från Port Arthur Historic Site, i ett område där man kan ägna sig åt golf. My partner and I had a short but very sweet stay with Rod and Kim. Guests have a whole cottage to themselves which caters for everything you might need, including breakfast items, heating and plenty of cosy blankets. There were many booklets and local pamphlets on what Port Arthur has to offer, and Rod kindly recommended a pub for dinner which was superb. Aside from the stunning and peaceful scenery, my absolute highlight was Rod’s tour of the farm in which we brushed adorable highland cattle and were given some super interesting facts and anecdotes by Rod of Port Arthur. I truly hope we are able to visit Tasmania again and we’d love to stay at Ruby’s Farm Stay if we do!

Set on a lovely property featuring a vineyard, olive grove and river, Taras Richmond Farmstay offers country-style accommodation with free breakfast and free WiFi. Super welcome and service. Lovely cottage with everything needed and more. Terrific breakfast with fresh bread, home made jam, fresh eggs. Good location close to Richmond village and good base for day tripping. A delightful haven to return to at the end of a day of adventures. We three Kiwis highly recommend.

Shearers' Quarters Rathmore erbjuder husdjursvänligt boende med grill i Hollow Tree. Privat parkering erbjuds utan extra kostnad. Du kan njuta av en kopp te på din terrass eller balkong. Had a wonderful few nights at Rathmore. Call generously upgraded us to the Cottage so our little family could have some more space. Cottage is great for kids. Easy under an hour drive up to Maydena to ride. Shearers quarters would be a great location for a group as well. Beautiful property and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. Thank you!

Elvenhome Farm är en unik ekologisk gård med miljövänlig profil. Här erbjuds en mysig vedeldad öppen spis och utsikt över fruktträdgården och trädgården. Här erbjuds en pedagogisk upplevelse. Our family of four (kids 10 and 8) had a FANTASTIC time at Elvenhome Farm. We only stayed 2 nights but wanted to stay longer. (The cottage was booked or we would have adjusted our trip to stay longer.) Graham and Kathleen are lovely hosts and have created an amazing space for a relaxing holiday. The cottage is spacious, bright, clean, well-appointed, and cozy. (The bed was so comfortable!!) Their farm is lovey. Our kids picked veggies and fruit with Kathleen, and they helped feed the chickens and sheep as well. They offer classes on the theme of sustainable living, so check their website as well. (I didn't do that before our visit but I wish I had.) The rural location is a perfect, but do take note that you're about a 20 min drive from Deloraine, so stock up on groceries before you head out to the farm. Also note that you will be close to the Van Diemens Land creamery!! (So good!)

Mount Rumney Escapes - 1h Haven Horse House ligger i Mount Rumney, bara 13 km från Theatre Royal, och erbjuder boende med utsikt över havet, gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering. The cabin is equipped with a full kitchen including a gas stove and a full size refrigerator. It’s clean, extremely comfortable and super quiet. Wi-Fi was banging! the views from Mt Rumney are spectacular. Now having said all of that remember that you are staying on a farm. There are animals and all the stuff needed to take care of them so you may see a pile of fencing material or farm equipment. I’ve stayed in cottages in the middle of vineyards that weren’t half as comfortable, welcoming and worth the value as this property. I arrived early and the host welcomed me with no issues. If you want a great place to stay without all the fru-fru I would highly recommend this property.

Cherry Top Farmstay - Boutique Eco Village ligger i Lilydale och erbjuder boende med utsikt över bergen, gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering, 26 km från Launceston Tramway Museum. A comfortable home away from home in stunning surroundings. Welcoming hosts and everything you need catered for. I am a return visitor because I haven't found better and the value is amazing.

Lockleigh Park ligger 25 minuters bilresa från Launceston. Privat parkering erbjuds utan extra kostnad. Alla rum har en vattenkokare. Alla rum har eget badrum. Lovely location in the countryside. The host went to a lot of effort to ensure our stay was pleasant and comfortable. The beds are excellent and the kitchen is well equipped. Generally we find that kitchens have few utensils etc. where we have stayed in the past but Alison supplied everything imaginable. We were also very impressed with the quality, good sized towels that were supplied. Highly recommended.
