unusual and comfortable - loved the facilities that came with the yurt, hot tub, bbq, fire pit, wood burner etc.

Popular local activities include walking, hiking and bird watching. The cottages are located on a working farm. The passenger ferry port is just 4 miles away, and the vehicle ferry port is 10 miles away. Location was absolutely gorgeous, a couple of minutes walk to the beach and the peace and quiet was surreal. The hosts very friendly and helpful.

Beautifully decorated, clean and friendly little barn to stay in. The jacuzzi bath was amazing, the beds were super comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our food while we were there. We loved the balcony.

Fantastic country getaway. Dionne was a lovely host making lovely breakfasts to order. It was a peaceful farm which allowed us to walk the grounds enjoying the spring sunshine. The room was cosy and clean. All in all a very welcoming stay. Decent transport lines with the number 9 bus stopping close. Walking distance to both monkey haven and butterfly world. Got to meet the guy owners ponys, there's ducks & chickens who amble about. Some lovely nature.

Surprisingly large for a one bedroom accommodation. Spacious bedroom and lovely garden. Resistant extremely good. Farm shop full of amazing produce. Lovely walks. We took our dog. Plenty of poo bins around the property. Perhaps have a dog field for them to stretch their legs as they have to be on the lead around the farm. A really lovely place as a base to see the rest of the island

Lovely B&B in 500 year old farmhouse in rural Shorwell. Huge room with sofa and tea/coffee making facilities and ample breakfast. Exceptional hosts that booked our ferry over and very kindly dropped and picked us up for a 50th Birthday event held in the nearby Manor House so we didn't have to drive. They did this whilst dealing with extraordinary flooding on the farm. Amazing hospitality and worth a stay if you have a car.

Fantastic, picturesque location for a wedding at Afton Farmhouse. Mark couldn’t do enough for us! Lovely cottage and great breakfast menu. Really comfortable and homely cottage.

Amazing views from the living room and bedrooms, very peaceful. The barn is very stylishly decorated, clean and finished to a high spec. also nice seeing horses and sheep on the nearby fields and added benefit of visiting the farm animals. Perfect for a relaxing family holiday.

A farmhouse with lots of character, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was superb, including home-made marmalade. Julie was very welcoming and helpful. Cake in the room on arrival was a nice extra touch. Near our favourite beach at Compton Bay too.

We stayed in the Little Mersley Farmhouse - sleeps up to 10 but our family a group of 6. Clean, good decorative order, plenty of bathrooms for a large group. Hot tub was a great addition
