The hosts have created a fantastic, and genuine farm stay with superb locally produced food and trimmings. The buildings have been faithfully restored including wonderful art works from Raffael (not 'THE' Raffael, but a fantastic artist nonetheless!). The grounds are vibrant and peaceful! The 3 course evening meal, and breakfast, prepared by the owner from the seasonal fruits of their labour were simply perfect, and the service by her son charming!!!

Pino, Anna, and Anna's mother, Maria, made us feel like a part of their family in every way. Everything we needed was quickly and cheerfully provided, and all our questions were patiently answered. Plus, the fresh, local dishes prepared by Maria we absolutely delicious. We came to Basilicata looking for an authentic Italian experience, and we definitely found it at Taverna Centomani. We made friends and memories there we will carry with us for the rest of our lives. Highly recommend.

At the farm stay, all units are fitted with bed linen and towels. johnny so accommodating and helpful. i was traveling alone for family reunion in montiscagliosa. he took me to town and when possible met me in town and i followed him back. i felt safe even though facility was far away from town central. the remoteness of the farm was so charming. but if i didnt have escort not ideal for solo senior traveler. the streets close for the festival of st rocco and i had difficulty returning to hotel during some nights there. pool fantastic in 96 degree temperature.so close to Matera and when festival was over much easier to travel to town central and find parking . You need a car. they even had gluten free bread for me for breakfast and delicious coffee.
