We stayed at Casas de Levada as a family of 4 and loved our stay there. The place is a great combination of charming rustic touches with a modern flair. Our kids loved roaming around the grounds checking out the bunnies and cats. We loved having breakfast in the cute kitchen with the fresh food provided and relaxing by the fireplace at night. This hilltop country farmhouse is the perfect retreat for relaxation and solitude. The Hosts Laura and her father are excellent from attention to details and communication skills to providing special goodies upon arrival. There are many places to see on this island but we just did not want to leave the peaceful setting of this very special accommodation. Cats come with this deal and in my opinion make this place feel like home away from home. We love, love, love Quinta Terezinha and we how you will too!

The place is nestled deep in the mountains, it made our stay in Madeira very special and completely different from the last two days in Funchal. the setting is paradisiac, with a stream running right below the cosy little house. The hosts, Comandante Carlos and his wife Eleonora are amazingly sweet and welcoming, they care for everything and prepare a great homely breakfast with fresh local produce. It was an unforgettable stay!
