The rooms are decorated with such personal touches and the views and tranquility of grapes, mountains and river views, you could sit and relax on a swing or lounge chair outside the room for hours. Sunsets with a glass of wine are amazing there also. I would highly recommend this!!

And Igor, the farm's dog is so sweet! Don't be fooled by his size, he's a gentle giant.

Cantinho da Estrela is located in Seia and includes free WiFi access. The guest house is just 9 km from the green areas of the Serra da Estrela Natural Park. We loved the location and character of the village. Easy parking on the streets. The house was welcoming the bedroom and toilet were a good size. Good aircon and host was lovely and accommodating.

The 17th century Solar de Alarcao features a garden and a furnished terrace with Guarda views. The centre of Guarda is a 4-minute drive from the property. Very friendly reception and breakfast staff. Lovely smell throughout the whole house. Very accommodating with regards to our bikes.

Featuring pool views, Tranca da Barriga - Casa do Vinho by Quinta De São Tiago offers accommodation with balcony, around 27 km from Parque Natural Serra da Estrela. Owner and his granddaughter made us very thorough excursion about production of vines and plentiful vine tasting after that. Owner changed our room to nice suite without any surcharge. This was very nice evening and night in Quinta de Sao Tiago. Also good breakfast.
