Gorgeous property surrounded by mountains, fruit orchards and vineyards, water, and a nature reserve. Property was about a 12 minutes drive into Franschhoek town, restaurants, and vineyards. What stood out was Tim’s exceptional hospitality. He was so helpful in planning our stay, making recommendations, making reservations, etc. He even helped us find and book a reservation at our next stop. Thanks, Tim! Would definitely come here again to rest and relax!

This beautifully designed and cosily furnished cottage is an absolute gem! You can enjoy the amazing view into nature from inside through the big windows, from the big porch or - and this was our big highlight - from the fire-heated hot tub. At night you can watch the stars sitting in the hot tub with nothing but nature around. It is simply beautiful and a great place to calm down, relax and enjoy the quiet away from all street noise. Since it is entirely off the grid, it is not affected by loadshedding. We’d highly recommend taking a factory tour in the olive oil factory with Allison while there. Both Allison and Francis are very welcoming, friendly and caring hosts. If we ever make it back to South Africa, the trip up to the farm with this special cottage will be a must on the itenerary!

Linda is the heart of the house and made sure I felt like home. She also organized a wine tasting tour with her friend Francois which I can highly recommend.

The location was incredible, and the property fulfilled every need. Morning coffee on the patio was to die for - the perfect getaway for a night or two!

Boasting accommodation with a private pool, sea view and a balcony, Watermill Studios is situated in Gordonʼs Bay. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Everything. Location in the mountains overviewing the bay. Kim and Stan are such great hosts. Kim even helped us with our laundry as the laundries were closed over the week-end Kim was great at giving us some tips for our stay. We loved the area. Would definitely come back

Super nice property. We were welcomed with homemade bread and had a wonderful evening enjoying the BBQ area and the hottub. Just a shame we couldn't stay longer
